The State Liquor Store in Springville is home to the WORST customer service at any retail environment. Many visits to the store I have stood in a line that extends from the checkout to the back wall and beyond. Only one checkout open and other employees in the back putting stock away. Stocking is something that is done when there is enough coverage at the checkouts. The primary concern is the customer. Without the customer spending their hard earned money there is no job for others. I raised my frustration and was told " we did not know we would be busy". Look at a calendar and figure out the holiday weekends that the store will be closed, then, look again, figure out that people will be restocking their supply. It is not that difficult if you pay attention to trends. My opinion, as a business manager, is the management of this facility is not capable of operating a smooth, friendly environment. Deregulation in the state would certainly cure this problem as competition would put this place out of business.

Im a manager for a local restaurant and I called to place an order. I realize it was within a minute or two of closing but they were not even willing to write the order down so the morning crew could have it ready for our managers the next day. Working in the service industry as well its just bad service to deny writing down an order for the next day just because the manager is too busy "counting tils".

I go here out of necessity, but its not great by any means. The beer selection is pretty terrible, and all of the beer looks like its been sitting for months (most of the stuff I was interested in was covered in dust and had best-by dates 2 months in the past). The staff is hit or miss, Ive had some really helpful staff, and some who couldnt really make any suggestions. Its very hit or miss.

This store is awesome. They have a great selection and staff is very friendly. They do not close at 5:00. Whoever wrote the review is obviously disgruntled. They close at 10:00 PM every day. They might close early the day before a holiday. Heaven forbid that their employees get to spend some time with their families. Sheesh.

What the actual eff This place closes at 5pm every day. What in the balls is up with that? This is the most worthless liquor store in the region. And Saturdays its closed. Maybe Im the only person thats tried to use this store after the working day, 5pm... But wow. Worthless.

Wanted to see if they had a particular beer, they didnt and on my way out I get harass by the cashier wanted to check my id when clearly she hadnt checked any body else the whole time I was there, I do believe I was singled out because Im hispanic
