I was out running errands today and thought I would pick up a new 3DS game, specifically Luigis Mansion: Dark Moon. First, I stopped at Target and they had the game selling for $39.99 but I thought if I drove down to the GameStop down the street I could get a better deal since the game is over a year old (note that on Amazon the game goes for 32$ new with free shipping). At GameStop I was disappointed to find the game priced at $39.99 too but I could get it used for $37.99 (much more expensive for used than expected). But I thought "whatever its 2$ less than Target" and decided to purchase a used copy. The used copy I was presented with at checkout was heavily beat up and the cartridges sticker had been poorly peeled off by the previous owner, leaving glue and paper bits in its place. The clerk said something like: "its missing the sticker, but its still the same game" but didnt offer any sort of additional price reduction, and while he was right I didnt think it was worth the 2$-off MSRP so I asked for a new game instead. The "new" game I asked for was just another cartridge (supposedly new) that was kept in a paper CD case in a drawer that he pulled out. After scanning and me paying he went to the 3DS shelf and pulled off the display case for Luigis Mansion: Dark Moon with the big white "NEW $39.99" sticker on the top right corner and put my "new" game inside. All the while, during checkout he had been bugging me to sign up for a POWER CARD which would cost me 15$ and save me an additional 2$ on the already extremely overpriced used game. So in the end, I paid $39.99 to be bugged about a POWER CARD, waste time with a damaged used copy, and get a beat up display case (which was damaged further trying to remove the "NEW $39.99" sticker) that was handled by god-knows how many little kids with my "new" game inside. When I could have spent $39.99 at Target and gotten a factory-new shrink-wrapped game and checked out in less than 30 seconds. This experience makes me wonder why I should ever go to GameStop again over any other retailer.

Im a little late writing this review, but nonetheless it needs to be written. About a year ago I came to this GameStop from the one in Sandy. I had bought a game from Sandy a few months before, but didnt notice that they had given me the wrong game in the case until I went to play it. I didnt have a receipt with me so they couldnt help which I expected, its my fault for losing the receipt. They also didnt have a copy of the game I wanted so they sent me to this location in Draper because they did have the game. When I got to this location I was talking to the guy at the counter about my situation and he offered to replace the game at no charge because of the other locations mistake. It was so nice to be helped and believed and god I wish I could remember his name, but he was awesome. I wont go to any other GameStop because of this awesome thing he did for me. Thank you so much!

Pre-ordered COD: Black Ops 3 digital deluxe edition, and waited in line for a half hour to get my digital download code. The sales associates told me I could go home and start my download so that when the servers opened the game at midnight, Id be able to start playing. I got home and the code said it was invalid. After talking with Sony Support they told me since it was purchased at a retailer that I couldnt even start the download until the game was released, but had I purchased it from the Playstation Store I could have pre-loaded it prior to release. Just as a heads up to everyone and note to self; if youre going to purchase digital content, dont do it at GameStop do it on the Playstation Store.

I used to go to the Sugar House one all the time but this one is MUCH, MUCH better. There is a girl there that used to work at Game Crazy in Bountiful who is AWESOME! As well as a Girl named Junie who is always happy to help and makes you feel good about the games you choose and will offer suggestions based on what youve already played. Great place, refuse to go to another GameStop. I will be pre-ordering my games here!

These guys are awesome! Hands down the best GameStop I have ever been to! Everyone there is super nice and helpful! We had a problem with a game and called them just before closing. We live 5 min away and they let us come in and just were super helpful and actually felt bad for our situation. I will always shop at this GameStop! I can go on and on with how helpful they are. They actually care about us every time.

Rude evening worker tonight. He was very unhelpful and allowed us to leave less than satisfied. The person who helped us at the THIRD gamestop of the day was very helpful, making up (partially) for the terrible experience. What really gets me about the faux-hawk fella at the sandy store is he had the means to do exactly what the third gentleman did, but he completely lacked customer service of all kinds.

I have gone to that store for years, since it was put there. Ive seen managers and workers change through the years. I have always been happy with the workers, deals, wait times if it was busy. I will continue to go there for years to come. Keep giving of us gamers great deals on the newest selection of games, accessories and consoles.

I am just livid I was not told by the store employees when I pre ordered my hard copy of CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS 3 that I could have picked up my game at 10 p.m.!!!!! I waited till 11:45 to drive over to the store for the so called midnight release and I looked at the parking lot and everyone was gone! So pist off about this.

So far so good. The girl that works there is extremely nice and wants to give the customer the best deal possible. This location is like night and day compared to the other Sandy location. If I go to game stop this is the game stop I go to even though it is farther out of my way.

I love this place! The staff is always super friendly to me. The only reason its slow is (what looks like to me) thier system. Everytime I go in and pre-order a game I say,"hi id like to pre order such and such" and they sit there typing for a while. Its a great plce though

Worst gamestop Ive ever been in due to the rude little chick that works there (who I think is even a manager). Dont go to this game stop. Go to the one at 9183 South Village Shop Drive Sandy, UT 84094 - much more friendly staff and they know more about the games.
