I would like to thank everyone at Hillside Floral for such a positive experience! The flowers that my girlfriend received were, quite honestly, breath taking. Not to mention the exceptional service that I was given from the woman at the front desk as well as the delivery driver. I am in Alaska working for the summer and wanted to send some flowers back home to my Girlfriend for her birthday. I found Hillside by luck via Google search, and I am so glad that I did (I will definitely use them again)! All of the arrangements on their website are beautiful, so much so that it was hard to choose just one. I ended up going with Telefloras Blossoming Love, and it ended up being the perfect choice. The flowers in this arrangement are beautiful and they give 3 options from Standard to Premium. I first chose Deluxe for her, and then the morning of her birthday I changed my mind. I called that morning and the women on the phone was able to help me upgrade to Premium. This woman was incredibly nice and accommodating to me, especially later that afternoon when my girlfriend was leaving work and hadnt yet received her flowers (at no fault of Hillside Floral or the driver). The delivery driver drove out of his way specifically to take my girlfriend her flowers! I am in shock at how willing this company was to work with me, and so grateful that I chose Hillside Floral. I will spread the word to all of my friends and will always use Hillside for my floral needs. Thank you Hillside! P.S. Her flowers were even more beautiful than the website.

Very disappointed with Jerry Rose. Very unprofessional, seemed annoyed with me when I called to inquire about a wedding. I sat down with Jerry, discussed extensively for a couple of hours, the options for my wedding. I went home, and in the weeks following emailed him pictures like he had asked me to do, and even tried calling again to determine an estimate. He never called back, and I had to call AGAIN to find out how much things were going to cost. When I finally did get a hold of him, he again seemed irritated with me for "bothering" him. He never told me what I needed to do next, and so I just assumed we were on the right track. I am unfamiliar with what needs to be done in this business in terms of deposits and money, and I felt uncomfortable speaking with him. When it all comes down to it, he blew me off, and when I inquired again about my wedding date, and needing a bridal bouquet for photos, he said "oh I am sorry I have booked other weddings that day." Such a jerk! I wouldnt use him ever again. Horrible service, flowers are just Okay. Not worth the money that you spend. You want to have an enjoyable experience leading up to your wedding, not worrying about whether your "florist" is going to bail on you at the last second, because he never calls you back.

Working with Jerry Rose at Hillside Floral was a wonderful experience for us. My father died unexpectedly, and we could only give Jerry two days’ notice for funeral flowers. We wanted a custom design, along with other more traditional funeral flowers. The custom order was for a 3-foot guitar, all flowers. We didn’t know exactly what we wanted as far as what flowers nor how to do it, but Jerry assured us he could handle it and that we would be happy. AMAZING! When the flowers were delivered, we (the family) were absolutely thrilled. The guitar was more beautiful that we imagined it could be. Painstaking effort went into every detail, even down to the frets, strings, and tuning keys! The casket spray was so beautiful and tastefully done, as was the wreath we ordered. Jerry was wonderful to work with, he made us feel at ease and confident that our flowers would be just what we wanted. He exceeded our expectations in every way. We could not have been happier. From now on, Hillside Floral will be our florist for every occasion.

Jerry at hillside floral did all the flowers for my wedding- bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, cake flowers, centerpiece roses, the whole nine yards. All of those were great (the centerpiece roses were a little bit the wrong color, but I expected some variation). The reason I give them 3 stars instead of 5 is due to a huge disappointment... My flower crown. I decided to have Jerry craft me a flower crown instead of wearing a veil, and I gave multiple pictures to show what it ought to look like... But when it arrived the day of, it had four tiny roses and was comprised mainly of tons of leaves that stuck out horribly. Having no other option on the morning of my wedding day, I wore it. But it was a huge disappointment and a waste of a fair amount of money. Every time I look at my pictures, I feel sad about the crown. So I guess, if you dont want a flower crown, hillside floral will take good care of you. If you request anything unique, look elsewhere...

Hillside Floral did the flowers for my wedding dinner for about 280 people. The flowers were simply outstanding. I was particular about what I wanted, and the florist (Jerry) worked directly with me and my wedding coordinator to make it beautiful and to perfectly identify and execute my vision. We did very tall, elaborate centerpieces that required expert attention and detail. We wanted the vases to be clear and empty so everyone could see each other at the round tables, so all of the flowers were situated at the very top of the vase. We wanted the flowers to be full and beautiful. The completed centerpiece was a masterpiece. The wedding was at the Empire Room in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Jerry and Hillside delivered the flowers early and made sure they were placed at each table. I received so many compliments on how amazing they looked. Hillside is the best and you wont be disappointed if you use them for any event.

I needed flowers sent to a co-workers office for a birthday and was worried due to a terrible experience with another floral company. After placing my order online, I sent a follow-up email just to confirm the flowers would be delivered today and see if they could accommodate an early delivery. Mary responded as soon as the shop opened and was so nice. I had mentioned I liked many of the arraignments, I had a difficult time choosing one, so if the florist wanted to be creative and add their own flair, that would be wonderful. Mary informed me they did not have any light pink lilies that were open so she had decided to go with a lavender color pallet. The flowers were beyond gorgeous - the entire office loved them. They were delivered early and I could not be more pleased with the product, the price and the customer service. I plan on ordering from them again and letting them design the arraignment. It was unique and perfect for fall!

What a massive disappointment from these folks. My husband had ordered me a gorgeous arrangement for my birthday in July -- THOSE flowers were absolutely amazing and lasted forever. We were really impressed. However, for our Anniversary he ordered me some roses -- well, first off they came hours late after repeated calls by my husband as to their whereabouts -- and when we got them, they looked like someone had dropped them in the truck, the arrangement was BARE in the back with nothing in it -- and they started to die as soon as we got them. They even came with dead leaves in it. What a waste of money and a disappointment. I was still grateful for the flowers from my husband who did something nice -- and it is the thought that counts - but I felt bad that he spent so much money on flowers that are now 80% dead after 4 days. Shame on Hillside for their consistency issues.
