We had a plumbing emergency on Saturday (prom) and couldnt pick up my daughters dates boutineer when the florist was open (they close at 2:00 pm, even on dance days). I called the store later that day to see if anyone was possibly there. There was no answer, and there wasnt even an answering machine message. I had to apologize to my daughters date. I tried to pick up the flower on Monday, just to see how it had turned out and perhaps deliver it to the young man to show that we hadnt just forgotten to order one. :( The girl at the counter said, "Oh, that would be next door at the doctors office." I didnt understand. They explained that they had taken the flowers which hadnt been picked up to the medical clinic next door and then left a note on their door. Well of course, I hadnt driven across town to check if there was a note on the door.... Seriously, why dont they have an answering machine? Or, when I ordered it and was asking their Saturday hours, why didnt they include the "extended pick up hours" instructions? The girl said I could go to the clinic to get my flower. I asked her to come with me. We went over there, and after some looking around, the office manager came out and apologized. She says they had thrown the flowers away when they had not been picked up. Thats okay, it wasnt their problem anyway. I got the impression that Haws doesnt even have a formal agreement with them, they were just inconveniencing the clinic. The girl from the florist said she would be happy to make me another boutineer. But when she tried to do so, the owner came out of the back area and started yelling at me. He said it was my fault for not picking up the flower. Where in his store does it say your merchandise will be thrown away under certain conditions? He said it wasnt his fault I didnt pick it up on Saturday. I said it wasnt my fault he gave it to someone who threw it away. He yelled at me and belittled me. It is ridiculous to ruin customer relations because a florist does not want to give up one more rose. Seriously? I will never go to Haws Floral again. He was in the wrong, and then he was mean and nasty about it to boot. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience.

I plan events for a living in one of the largest cities in the nation, so I know how important good vendors are. I was very picky, particularly about my flowers, as I have taken floral design classes myself. After scouting everyone out in the area, I chose Haws because of their obvious knowledge of their craft (determined through detailed conversations) and their superior customer service--friendly, helpful, eager, interested. After lengthy discussions about my preferences, they crafted a boquet that thrilled me, and their choices to complement my tastes were spot-on. I LOVED my boquet--and it still brings me pure joy when I think about my wedding day! I will mention that they had my delivery time wrong--but it had been the topic of multiple discussions, so I wasnt surprised. For that very reason, I checked in with them 24 hours before pick-up, to ensure everything would be ready, and we caught the discrepancy in plenty of time. I firmly believe the day-before check-in is critical anyways, so I would recommend you do it with all your vendors.

I have used Haws Floral for many years after the florist I was using in Orem, Utah closed their business. Not only have I used them for all my business needs but for my personal special events also . Whenever I have sent floral arrangements from Haws for funerals, birthdays or at Christmas time, etc, I receive nothing but wonderful comments on the awesome arrangements they have just received. Each year at Christmas time for some of our company gifts, Dave, owner of Haws Floral, designs & creates some of the most unbelievable arrangements I have ever seen. It is well known when the Christmas arrangements arrive at these business corporations from our company, everyone gathers around to take pictures of it to and sent these pictures to their friends/family because it is so remarkable. Dave is my life saver even when I have not given him much time to make a birthday arrangement for a friend - he is ALWAYS able to make it happen for me. I would be "dead in the water" without Dave at Haws Floral!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is a joke. I ordered flowers for Grandmas funeral and they were delivered late. When we called to find out what happened we were treated like crap. The owner is a jerk and very rude. He offered no apology and blamed everyone else for his screw up. I wouldnt buy flowers or anything from this guy he doesnt deserve to be in business. We were already dealing with the loss of a loved one and then we had to be yelled at and treated like crap from the damn flower man. Get a life dude. Why dont you try adding the words "Im sorry" to your vocabulary it might of changed the way I feel.

I chatted with a young lady that was very short with me. I asked her if there was a better time to call back because it seemed to me that I was a thorn in her side. After that she changed her attitude. But then I let her know I wanted to spend around $30 to $35 dollars. My card was charged 49.06. I called them and the owner told me the delivery fee was charged per mile. That would have been nice to know. Anyway the arrangement was beautiful just think there was a lack of communication. So please ask them what the delievery fee is going to be ahead of time.

The shop was cute and the staff was helpful. My onlycomplaint is that we purchased two stems of holly for $5 each and one had already been cut from for their arrangements (no berries left, branches cut off, only branches with dried and slightly browned leaves left). We live half hour away or we would have gone back to exchange it. As a business owner I would never charge a customer full price for a used product and I definitely consider the branch used and overpriced. Hopefully this was just a mistake.

Mr. Haws provided the flowers for mine and my wifes wedding and I have went to him for flowers ever since. He has always been super helpful. This year I will be away for the military on Valentines Day and he has helped accommodate me in setting up a delivery order for Valentines Day months in advanced so that my wife can get flowers while I am gone. He always remembers me too which is great business. Ill always go back

Tried to have flowers delivered for a funeral they never showed when I called they tried to blame the funeral home for the problem but they finally arrived 2 days late and the flowers were all dead definitely stay away from this place one of the worst florist I have ever dealt with

I got married in January, haws floral did my bouquet, wrist corsages and boutenuier for my wedding! My cascading bouquet was to die for! Absolutely beautiful! They had vision and made it magical! Thank you Haws floral!
