I was treated very poorly over the phone today. I rented a tool last Thursday and brought it back Friday. When my boyfriend returned it they charged me an extra $25 for a cleaning fee. I was never told at time of rental that I had to clean the tool before bringing it back (Or else I totally would have, hello.) So when he told me about that charge I called them back to ask what happened. The man I spoke to said that was his band, and he never told me. He said it slipped his mind and he apologized. He told me to call back Monday to speak to Kim. So I called Kim today, and she was just a peach of a lady. She told me it was my fault because it was written in the fine print on the pin pad I signed. It is not written on the contract! I told her I wasnt aware and she continued to say it was my fault. She also made up a story that when my boyfriend returned the tool he was asked if he wanted to clean it so I wouldnt be charged and he said "No its okay just charge the card on file." YEAH RIGHT! I told her I wanted the refund since the man told me I would get it because he never told me about the cleaning fee, and she said she wouldnt give it to me. I told her this is awful customer service because you have one employee telling me yes I will get a refund, and another employee telling me "NO". SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!! Wow! So I called back and spoke to a manager who was understanding and nice. Things got taken care of but I would definitely recommend that if you are renting any sort of tool, and Kim is there to help, Ask for someone else, she is just simply rude and should be working in a department that doesnt have to talk to customers.

We recently ordered four new appliances through Home Depot Riverdale Utah. We agreed to a delivery date - received a voicemail from Baileys- (their outsource company) one day before delivery informing me that one item was on back order and theyll need to deliver several weeks from now, as they dont deliver separately even for this problem?! I sold our other appliances and took that day off from work- I lost money due to their mess up and Ill need to do it a second time. The rep suggested canceling that one item and re-ordering it, now making delivery almost 6 weeks after the original purchase date, so they could deliver the other three on time, so I drove back to Home Depot and did just that. When I called Baileys the next morning I was informed that my original delivery date was cancelled and well need to wait the several weeks with no appliances- all without our consent. Now a full month after the purchase date. No apologies, no how can we make this right through Baileys. Home Depot did give us $50 off and they made several calls to Baileys for me which saved me a little frustration which I appreciate. We love Home Depot and spend thousands with them each year - Im disappointed that they allow Baileys to represent their company in this manner.

I ordered an appliance package waited around 3 weeks to receive the order and the delivery process turned into a circus. The only notice given for the delivery time was 20 minutes in advance and then they showed up at the wrong address. They wanted me to reschedule an appointment for a later date (at least one week later) instead of correcting the problem. Management and staff didnt really care about their mistake. Delivery company employee speaks almost no english, but that only matters if you can hear him over the screaming kids in the background on his end of the phone. There are much easier ways to buy appliances. I will never go through Home Depot again.

Tried to buy a Weber grill here and got zero help today. Asked for an associate three times no one came, finally called the store while I was in there and still couldnt get help. Associates bounced me around to each other 4 times before I finally got a hold of the HR manager who just said sorry and didnt even offer to meet me in grill section. Home depot has lost a customer today, I will not be returning. I would have had better luck wheeling floor model to front door and seeing if the associate standing there as loss prevention stopped me.

Went to rent the truck and it was out which is no big deal. The attendant said the tuck would be in around 12:30 -1:00 and put our name on a waiting list for when the truck was returned. Gave the attendant our name and phone number, he says we are the only ones on the waiting list. 1:30 rolls around and no call. 2:30 still nothing so we drive to the store and behold the truck is just sitting there. No call so part of our day was waisted waiting.

If you are in a hurry for lumber you may want to consider. Third weekend in a row I waited for 15 min for someone to come to the board cutting area to cut some wood for me. I ended up just leaving and going to lowes around the corner. When I told them my expirience they ended up giving me an additional 10% off of a $2500 cabinet order. Lowes customer for life and will encourage others to do so if they have a choice. Very disappointed

Theyre nice and things are pretty easy to find but I was disappointed when I went in to find a push on terminal for the negative side to some speakers I have. They had the kind for the positive side, plenty of them, but none for the negative side which is about half the size. Since speakers are designed this way, surely there is demand for both sizes. Good store, just dont always have what youre looking for.

I shop at Home Depot every week in Riverdale. Their customer service is exceptional. I have started tons of projects to improve my home and had no knowledge or experience and I can always depend on the staff at Home Depot to walk me through each process with ease....Thank you so much for your help. You go way beyond the call of duty!!!!

I have been able to find a lot of the things I need there. On a recent visit I looked for someone to help me but everyone was busy. I found a "need help get associate sign" and pushed the button. Instantly a guy came walking up the far end of the isle and two more associates literally came racing. In seconds 3 people were there to help.

I just made the mistake of walking into the store again But I promise it will be the last time...Totally unprofessional staff absolutely 0 help from anybody including the managers if I could give it 0 stars I would...Thankfully theyre not the only home improvement store around Im on my way to Lowes

I wanted to buy over $7k worth of materials to redo the roof on my house but the employees couldnt care less and didnt want to help. The one at the service counter was on the phone talking to her boyfriend the entire time we were trying to talk to her. Needless to say. We went somewhere else.
