I see my review was removed...hmmm...well it was a true experience so I will rewrite it as need be. We used Burton for the building of our house and while their service was quite good in the beginning when we were paying them big bucks we had to chase them down to correct errors, of which some were never resolved. One example...we ordered (verbally with Pat) a specific kind of glass for our front door which we were told we would get. The wrong glass was delivered but we were told to go ahead and install, and the error would be fixed. For the next two months, every time we phoned Pat about it, he assured us the error would be fixed. Finally when the time came to settle accounts we were told that because it wasnt in writing we would have to pay $500+ to get the correct glass installed as the glass was an integral part of the door. The writing was on an invoice that had a code that we were supposed to know indicated a different type of glass. But until the point, (when Burton realized it was going to cost them money to fix their mistake), we were always assured that it would be taken care of and fixed. Then a total reversal when they realized the scope of their mistake and it was pinned squarely on our shoulders. Pat even tried to say that we had changed our minds about the glass we wanted, when all along (up to the end when they realized there was no easy and cheap fix) he was reassuring us that he would fix the error. A total lack of integrity on Butons end. So kind of like this review being removed...lots of denial when they realized the cost of their error. Unfortunately, this makes us forced to carefully consider recommending this company. Other subs we worked with were very accountable and honest when they made errors, Buton was not.

Burton Lumber has good locations and competitive pricing but really beats the competition with their top notch service. I have purchased lumber, trusses, doors, and decking from them and each transaction was very smooth. Quality of products were good as well.

Purchased lumber and composite lumber to build a deck here. The staff was very helpful but the pressure treated lumber we received was very warped.... Otherwise it was a great experience and their prices were the best I could find
