I shop here only because it is near by. I have literally spent over $200,000 here. Yet my satisfaction with this store is falling further down hill all the time. Just now for example, I waited at one of the three registers with lights on. Absolutely none of them had a cashier at the register, nor red lining. I waited there for about two minutes with no one paying any mind. Five workers gathered around talking amounts each other. None of them helping a customer. Mind you, I was not the only one at the register to be checked out. Also they close shopping isles for no apparent reason. I had to go down three isles and back track just to get to the register. Then you have their scam of a water test deal where you have a chance to win a $50 gift card. What a lie that is. The scam is actually about coming to your home for a test. No raffle at all. Then when you tell them to stop calling and take you off their list, they keep calling all times day and night. It took threatening a class action lawsuit to get them to stop. Poor customer service. Poor inventory. Poor sales. I think it is time to take my business elsewhere. Further more, their product line is getting very low quality. Might as well go to harbor freight and get things cheaper of better quality. I am done with home Depot

Welcome to Home Depot, may i help you find a general portion of the store that should have what you need... Translation: Just use the signs above isle- Do you have this particular item... Translation: Unfortunately that item is not covered by our monopoly policy and we dont stock it, we only sell brand a, and it sucks, but we bought one million of them. Will this work for this example... (best hardware store question ever) Translation: Maam or Sir, i make $10 per hour, my training video describes how to add to your order. Look, maam or sir, if i could answer that, would i be standing here trying to look busy and avoid human contact. Wow, that cost that much? Translation: If you use your brothers aunties nephews contractors license its 40% less. Otherwise our lack of direction creates unimaginably high returns and open boxes that we write off as cost of doing business, and pass along to you for buying the wrong part. Bad customer, bad. Seriously thank you to the employees that have the composer for retail and patience to convey the knowledge they have. You know who you are "Jimmy"

The staff is friendly enough and theyre everywhere except at the checkout. One real person at a cash recister on a Saturday morning. Are you kidding me? The two bar code scanners I tried using at the self checkout didnt work either. What good is a staff giving out popcorn offering over the top phoney smiles and Im sure hugs if you ask for one if there is no way to pay for your items? What a waste of time. Its hardware store for me from now on. And while Im at it why do grocery stores always ask "did you find everything ok" if they arent prepared to do anything about it if you havent? Drives me nuts. They just give you that blank stare and say oh really, thats too bad! Oh yea and can they make those numbers on fruit any smaller and print them on a background where its more difficult read? And God forbid if you expect anyone to make change without the register calclating it for them. Merry Christmas everyone!

I was looking for a fan online and this store supposedly had 6 of the model I wanted in stock according their website. When I showed up at the store, I had to track down and ask 2 separate associates (who were very nice) where they kept the fans, only to discover that they were out of stock until the next shipment in 3 days. I asked the lady at the customer service desk to help me find a nearby store with the fan in stock, and all she did was repeatedly tell me that every store in the chain received freight on the same day and they were probably out as well. I then proceeded out to my car to call nearby stores and eventually found one in Scottsdale with my fan in stock. The customer service here leaves a lot to be desired, and I hope that girl at the front counter gets canned.

Employees are there if you need the help. A few of them asked me if I needed assistance and I was very clear that I did not. I checked out using an actual cashier. She had trouble with the touch screen computer. Come to find out its because my plant was touching the screen. She was not aware of that problem. As I went in to shop for a plant, I parked by the garden section. Unfortunately all the doors to the garden section were closed. I had to walk all the way around to the front. Luckily I was still able to shop in the garden area, but a lot of the product I was interested in was actually outside the doors.

Lousy all around. I have been to two different Home Depots and had my PO put in without any problems. Today, it took 30 minutes to get wood cut. Then, the Pro desk could not figure out how to do the PO. After multiple attempts, they told me they needed to contact the credit center, but did not do so to see if it could be worked out. Once this happened, they told me they can put everything away. Even the wood I waited for. What a waste. Never going to this store again, would rather go to Lowes that is the same distance away

3 employees were standing around joking and having a good old time in the plumbing aisle. I was there in the aisle for 20+ minutes looking for all the fittings I needed and not a single employee ever even asked if i needed help or was finding everything alright. I am a contractor, but I was not dressed to look like a pro. It is disappointing that i couldnt get even an offer for assistance when there were 3 employees in my aisle not helping anyone.

Kerry Peacock in Appliance at the Dobson Rd. Mesa location is terrific! She explained the pros and cons of all the major brand washing machines that led us to purchase the Maytag Bravos; a super large capacity that uses the right amount of water! Kerry is very knowledgeable and made our day with her sense of humor and outstanding customer service! Wish there were more people like her that take the headache out of buying new appliances.

Was disappointed for the last three times not at only one store but multiple Im a contractor and waited two hours for a order placed by my customer after waiting that whole time got back to my job site to find you loaded the wrong side tub and bought a brand new drain that the threads were shot and didnt work cost me over a half a day work for two employees all because your stores

I went for paint and had no clue what I was doing. An older gentleman in the paint department took a lot of time to educate me and help me. He took all of the stress out of my searching for paint and what type of Paint that I needed. Awesome Employee! I was there on June 4th around 10:00 a.m. in case you would like to recognize this wonderful employee.
