I only stopped on my way through town on a long trip. I needed caffeine and caught this place out of the corner of my eye just in time to swing into the parking lot. Lots of parking, in contrast to some of their big-city cousins. I ordered what apparently is called a "Redeye," a cup of coffee with a nice fat shot of esspresso dumped in just for fun. When I told the barista not to leave room for cream and sugar, I think I saw a little smile. As a passionate coffee snob who believes you shouldnt critique coffee if you have to alter it beyond recognition, I was extremely impressed with the quality of that offering. A pungent, flavor-filled aroma opened up immediately to reveal the earthy heart of the bean. The first sip was, I kid you not, one of the peak experiences of my life. THAT is the way coffee should taste. No, I am in no way associated with this place. I also ordered a piece of some sort of fruit bread, I think, and found it dry and sort of lifeless. So no perfect score but big points where they count with me. Recommended for coffee tasters.

We love this thing they have called a Blended Honu Tiki!! This place blows away starbucks every day. We like that theres a discount when we bring the Tiki cup from last visit. We just wish they werent such jerks about offering T-shirts with the name of their store. I know I know, corporate policy.... yada yada yada... well its just silly not to offer them for sale. Why not let people promote your great place? Anyway, well keep enjoying this place. One other annoyance, the wifi here is too strong for people who are cognizant of radiation levels. Id switch to ethernet internet outlets. Wowi maui!

JTCC HR and Business Consulting

We love this spot for a quick breakfast or "grab some Jo" place, esp. early on weekdays (everyplace in Wimberley is busy on weekends.) Great coffee, Fabulous Ghiradelli hot cocoa, BIG muffins, oatmeal, and other yummy breakfast or snack munchies PLUS you can enjoy a healthy green or fruit smoothie when youre eating light. Wonderful local hang-out with good internet too!!!

Rude staff. If you want to ruin a nice vacation go to Maui Wowi Hawaiian Coffees & Smoothies in Wimberley, Texas. Here we are in Wimberley, Texas, enjoying ourselves until we walk into what was the rudest establishment that I have ever visited. Bad attitude, rotten service and extremely unfriendly.

Not the best coffee in town. The latte was made like a cappuccino. Decor is overly themey & out of place in the TX hill country. Not a super cozy setting. But they do order from Kauai Coffee Co, which is cool. And the staff is very friendly.

Laid back vibe with attentive baristas to brew their rich java into any blend you prefer. Smoothies and teas are also options. Quiet contemplation or lively conversations are all part of this Hawaiian-themed charm of Wimberley.

Overpriced chain. Works for when in a pinch. Smoothies are better than the generic overly sweetened Coffee drinks. Very limited menu.
