Friendly, helpful 2 girls who were working & the kolaches at this location use better softer different type of bread than other locations. Plenty of napkins given for little ones in the car, so much appreciated. I took a while figuring out what we wanted & had several questions, but the 1st girl just politely asked the 2nd girl to give her a hand. Altho the 1 mistake was giving us a plain cake donut instead of a blueberry, which we had mentioned we were just getting 1 to try them here, but not that big of a deal, as long as it doesnt happen every time, like some others have put in their reviews. Overall, were pleased with this drive-thru visit in our new part of town where we moved.

Grew up in a small town where Shipleys was the only donut place we had around. Their donuts were always extremely fresh and they only stayed open for breakfast hours (probably why the donuts were always fresh). After living here for a couple of years now I decided Id try the Shipleys here. I went as early as I could this morning and I must say Im very disappointed. Not at all like Im used to getting back home. Barely any fillings and the donuts were cold and soggy. I try not to be a picky person but it wasnt satisfying at all. Maybe if I went right at opening it would be a better experience.

Ordered the standard ham and cheese kolaches only to find they were terrible. There is practically little to no cheese inside. The so called "cheese" looked like the generic queso dip you buy from HEB only chunkier(think cottage cheese clumpy). I went at like 6:15 in the morning(they open at 5am), the kolaches werent fresh at all. 2 Stars only because I was in and out within a min of ordering. If you want quality Shipleys, hit up the Bandera and Grass hill location. Been going there for 15+ years and never had a problem there.

Wanted four large items on a box bc they stick together in a bag. Never had a problem with this request before as the total of these 4 item is more than 1 dozen doughnuts. But this time the little girl behind the counter was not gonna move! Drats! Im gonna miss my apple fritter breakfast this weekend.

Best doughnut place out here. They put a dunkin down the street and another doughnut place across the street but this place is better. They will fix an order up even if it is not on the shelf. The other two places if you dont see it you wont get it. Save yourself time and go here first

The service here is horrible, the young lady doesnt care about their customers. This is the 2nd time we have experienced this type of service in 6 months. We were on vacation from Dallas heading to Sea World both times and we will never stop at this location again.

Went to buy cream filled donuts, these were some of the worst Ive had. Almost no cream at all in more than one I had. Very dissappointed! The apple fritters were good tasting but hardly any filling. Need to improve by putting more filling in your donuts.

At window or in store employees always look annoyed that they have to take your order. Last time ordered a dozen mixed and girl gave us all the same kind when we got home is when we had realized what shed done.

Awesome donuts. Im disappointed with the size of the sausage in the kolaches, but the flavor cant be beat. Staff wasnt as friendly as I would like, but they got the job done.
