An interesting competitor to all of the other little coffee shops that are springing up and trying to compete with Starbucks. The menu is tidy, easy to order from and the prices are a welcome relief for those of us that are tired of spending $10 at Starbucks. The cold brew iced coffee was very good and is quite a bit above Starbucks which has a seriously bitter aftertaste. While I didnt order a latte I did get to see the barista effortlessly add a pretty design on the top with milk and that was a nice touch. Those I ordered it for liked it. If you intend to relax in the place be sure to bring a laptop otherwise youll stand out. I do like supporting local and I do enjoy their coffee so Ill be back.

Lots of natural wood and unique decorating, with coffee served by friendly laid back staff. Very comfortable, clean, newly constructed place that serves good coffee. Great place to catch up with friends, get some work done, or grab something to go. They have water freely available as well which is a nice convenience. Bathrooms are clean. Parking is easy.

Ive come here a couple of times when I have business in the area, and Im always wowed by the consistently good service, as well as the coffee and pastries. Im not really into the industrial decor, but its a personal preference. More important is the fact that its always clean and bright inside. Definite a place to visit again and again!

If you consider Starbucks good coffee, then you should stick to Starbucks, but if you are looking to upgrade your taste buds, give Local a try. Good hipster coffee with good service and the staple of people hanging out with their macs, browsing reddit. In conclusion, San Antonio is shaping up in their coffee scene.

Environment is nice, staff is nice, but coffee is quite acidic. I cant ascertain why it is consistently so, but it is. Ive tried 3 times now, & each time very similar taste. I know they vary the beans, but something is off.

Local is one of San Antonios best coffee spots and this is no exception. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent coffee. This location is a bit awkwardly located, but that is more of a personal opinion.

I love the atmosphere and the coffee!! Sometimes it can be hard to find a seat, but thats probably a good sign. The baristas are always friendly and quick. The only problem is I dont go often enough! :)
