If zero stars was a possibility Id give them that. I was only in the store for less than five minutes and experienced the worst customer service ever. I had an appointment set up with them after speaking to an Apple customer service representative about a speaker issue I was having. When I walked in, the employee in charge of my case didnt seem too interested in hearing what was wrong with my phone and simply plugged it in to run a diagnostic test. Once that was completed, he told me there was nothing wrong with my phone. When I told him there was a low grade static sound coming out of it, he rolled his eyes, put the speaker against his ear and said he couldnt hear anything. So I attempted to explain that it was very soft and the store was a bit noisy and maybe that was why he was having trouble hearing, so he obnoxiously handed to phone over to a co-worker and asked him if he could hear noises coming out of my phone. The co-worker chuckled and replied no. I quickly realized they werent going to attempt to help me so I left and drove to my service provider. I then explained my issue to the Verizon employee and he actually made the effort of attempting to hear the sound I was referring too and agreed that he could hear it. He then apologized for the misogynistic behavior I had just endured at the Simply Mac store and offered to have my phone replaced. He then explained to me that it was in fact a defective phone issue and a new one would be over nighted to me. I have no plans of ever returning to this location, Id rather make the two hour drive to Dallas, TX than have to deal with their rude employees again.

Horrible experience! Number one reason? They are liars...the management and staff have no integrity. My one week old IPhone 6 plus screen had a glitch after a week of use. I took it to simply mac(authorized apple dealer). The first rep when I took my phone said "pretty common problem with the iPhone 6 , definitely a hardware issue, dont worry you are covered under warranty, youll get a new phone on Tuesday". I call on Tuesday, 2nd rep - "phone didnt make it in today, try tomorrow". I call on Wednesday, 3rd rep - "apple is still working on your phone"(keep in mind I was told I was getting a new phone, but now apple is fixing my old phone). Finally I got tired of getting the run around and went to the store on Thursday, 4th rep, brought me my phone - "we tried calling you(they never did), but it looks like your phone LCD is cracked from the inside maybe you dropped it, the warranty will not cover this, it will cost you $320.00 dollars to get it fixed".(they never even opened my phone...straight LIE, because according to them apple still had my phone the day before that was also a LIE, a week old phone, never dropped not a single scratch nowhere). The bottom line...they didnt want to deal with me or my phone and all they did was hold my phone and waste my time to only tell me a week later that Im screwed. They lied to me, and in the process tried making money off of me. STAY AWAY! I dont know about you guys, but there is nothing in life that I HATE more than LIARS. Will never do business with these guys.

My 4yr old son decided to go swimming with my brand spankin new iphone 5s. I thought for sure my phone wouldnt survive but decided to take it to simply mac just to see. The guy there was so friendly and he took it apart, it was still wet! dried it out tried to do everything he could to make it work. Miraculously the phone was able to turn on and work but for a very short amount of time. He then advised me to replace it for 270$. Whoever is complaining about that is a complete idiot. I had originally paid 750$ and would have been out a phone for a long time if this guy hadnt gave me this offer. I was especially surprised because I dont have insurance, warranty, and pay for pre-paid and this was severe water damage. Anyway I get my new iphone in a few days :) Oh and he didnt even charge me for the attempt to save my old iphones life!

I hate going to this store. Ive never had the best experiences here but I figured Id give them amother chance by buying a new MacBook Pro with the touch bar because I could use my student discount. This place is a joke. From now on Im gonna go straight to Apple or Best Buy. I was experiencing what I thought was a glitch with the touch bar and I asked them for help and their lead tech made me feel like such an imbecile like "oh its supposed to do that youre just not doing it right" never have I experienced such s***ty customer service before. They talk down to you and make you feel like a know nothing. Ive been servicing macs for 5+ years and Ive been apple certified for going on 2 yearw and these guys literally know nothing other than what their manuals tell them. Dont go here unless you wanna be humiliated

These guys do not repair in house. they send them to Apple. After talking to Clayton on the phone twice, he said I would have to bring my iPad air in to trouble shoot it. I brought it in, waited 15 minutes for them to tell me they couldnt do anything because the digitizer was replaced with a third party digitizer, which I told him on the phone. I asked him why, and he said, "we dont open anything. We just send them to apple, and apple wont work on devices with third party parts." The company misleads people, making them think they actually repair apple device. They do not, they just send it to apple, which I can do myself. Go to Gadget Medic in Longview...They may not be certified, but they have much better customer service, and they actually repair things.

The entire experience seemed underhanded. Not once was I given the impression that my issue was of concern to them and not once was my computer even opened up for initial examination. The entire emphasis was on payment to them for services, rather than their desire to fix my issue. My impressions from the visit: 1. Simply Mac associates have no concern for good customer care - a concern that is borne out in customer reviews on Google. 2. Simply Mac is primarily concerned with sales. 3. Simply Mac associates have been drilled to distrust the customer. If I could give zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, this experience was so unfulfilling that it doesnt even warrant one star.

Simply Mac is terrible. Employees are unknowledgeable about apple products. I came in to trouble shoot a Magic Mouse 2 and they told me to clear my disk, uninstall & re-install OS X. They were going to charge $69.99 for the job when I simply could do that task at home, although that wast even the problem. I later figured out that my MacBook Air was not up to date and that solved the problem. Simply Mac is suppose to know all of these problems. All I needed to do was update the system for the Magic Mouse 2 to be compatible and they couldnt even figure that out.
