Have had terrible service with a terrible product. First, I have had my LTE Surface 3 since April 20, 2016 and had to have it replaced 3 months later due to faulty equipment. I brought it in and waited for it. I was out of town when I got the call that my replacement tablet was in. I went in Wednesday, got my new tablet. Started having issues with the touch screen immediately , had to use my pen (luckily I had one). Thursday I turned off my tablet, went to turn it on again and lo and behold the thing locked up. I called customer support and they couldnt help me, so he made me an appointment at my local Galleria store. The appointment was for 11:30, I didnt even get seen until 12:00. The tech was nice enough, but he couldnt fix my issue after about another 1 and 1/2 hours of trying, so I left it there to be fixed overnight. I did tell him that I wouldnt be able to pick it up over the weekend. He stated that he would have to re-install a clean version of my operating system (Windows 10) and he would call to let me know to pick it up. I had to call the store on Monday (today) and then I was told that there were dead spots on the touchscreen which wouldnt allow me to use it. She said that it would have to be sent in for a replacement again! I wanted to upgrade and was told that they couldnt do it because it had to be sent back and then the repair center would tell them if I could upgrade. What? Since when can I not get a newer product if Im willing to spend the money? This is the worst tech experience Ive ever had, from staff to product!

Worst customer service you will ever receive in your life. Wish I could give 0 star. I made a return on December 28 and they said because I purchased with a debit card, they would have to send me a check. It is now February 6, a month and a half later and I still have not received my refund. Every time I attempt to call the store, it goes to the answering service center and they keep putting me on hold for hour after hour. The employees have no accountability and dont listen. Couple of them sounded like they were on drugs. I repeated my issue three, four times to one of them and he was confused. I repeated my name to another 10 times and she still couldnt get it right and then when I asked for a supervisor, she hung up. I ended up going back in person to the store with my receipt and they said I will have the check by Monday and still I havens received anything. HORRIBLE is an understatement. Shame on me if I ever buy anything from Microsoft again

I was interested in the Surface Pro 3. I read well over 30 reviews and went to the Microsoft Store in the Galleria. Lots of friendly & knowledgeable staff on hand to answer all my questions! I met Jasmine and she showed me the Pro 3, asked about my business and wanted to introduce to Frank Hammon, their business sales specialist. He immediately impressed me. I knew he was busy, yet he spent a half hour with me answering some additional questions I had. He suggested I do my due diligence, and check out the competition. I went to BB and had a hard time finding someone to help me. I decided to return to The Microsoft Store and knew that was where I wanted to purchase the Surface Pro 3. The service is very good after the sale! I have referred several of my friends to go there and they thanked me for the great tip! Always appreciative of a great buying experience!

People were friendly and knowledgeable, which is where both of the stars come from. There were many, many salespeople, but apparently only one tech working. I had an appointment with the tech, but got put in line with all of the other walk ins. They did not see me until half an hour after my appointment, when I was early. The tech was working diligently, and some of the salespeople did the best they could to help, but the management really screwed up on that one. In a larger matter, there should be more than one Microsoft store in Houston. The next closest one is in Texas City or some other industrial wasteland. I wish I had driven there instead. The Galleria is a human cesspool surrounded by an impassible parking lot of streets. Please, for the love of human decency, build a store somewhere accessible.

Xbox One Stops working and its in warranty. Microsoft call center said since I purchased from Microsoft store at Galleria I would be able to exchange in store. Well I waited for an hour to see a so call tech in store, and one was nice the other was was pretty much worthless and stuck up (short hair lesbian) , since I dont have extended warranty I have to send it out to get repaired. Doesnt extended mean past the normal warranty? Well it wasnt offered to me and she had the nerves to say that they offer to everyone. The customer is always right. It was not offered nore explained to me.! They basically did nothing for me but waste my gas, time and aggravate me more. I will addmitt the Manager in green shirt and others were very polite. They offered me water or coffee.

After purchasing a new laptop at The Microsoft Store, Mike, the tech from the store worked hard to help me to set up emails and Microsoft accounts on the new computer, .with new passwords for Microsoft and Outlook 365 ( Even Go Daddy, and Google). Kasey , the sales person was a pleasure to work with and answered all of my questions with a smile, and the store Manager Robert was incredibly helpful in helping me with my extended warranty. Do purchase an extended warranty it is always worth it! Amazing customer service. This is my fourth computer purchased from the Microsoft store over the last few years.... they are THE BEST! I can not recommend them highly enough.

Terrible service! I bought a Surface 4 Pro, bundled package with OFFICE 365, but the computer does not automatically include the software. Unlike Apple, you have to download yourself or in the case of Microsoft, they will download it at the store, but it took so long - over an hour - that I had to leave the computer there and pick it later. When I picked it up, there was no power cord included. They must have left it plugged in. When I called the store, the phone number given online connected me to someone international, based on the accent. There is no way to call the store directly. Finally, I had to order a new power cord online. I completely regret my purchase.

Did not find a way to put 0 star rating so had to go with one star. ordered a inspiron 15z from store online but had put wrong credit card and there was no option to cancel the item(seems strange for a e-commerce site not to have a cancel order). Chatted with customer service and told to cancel and they said it is cancelled, later get a email that it could not be cancelled as it is shipped. Also called the store and see if i can come and return and drove about 1 hour to go to the store and the store people, say cannot return as i ordered it online and the return process has already been started which started automatically when i chatted to cancel the meeting
