I scheduled an appointment at Brides and Belles to look for wedding dresses today, and I was pretty disappointed. Let me start with the good: The building was nice, and everything was organized, clean, and it seemed like there was a good variety of dresses, if not just a great number of them. However, I did not have a positive dress shopping experience. My consultant did not seem truly interested in me. When she asked what I wanted in a dress, one of the most important features I mentioned is a modest sleeve at 3/4th or half length, and yet the first dress she pulled for me was a sleeveless. Most significantly, however, she noted more than half a dozen times that she may not be able to accommodate my size needs. I am a 16 in my jeans; at another bridal store I visited yesterday, this translated to an 18 in a wedding dress. I am a fairly confident person, but for a few hours after this appointment, I felt like I could never be beautiful in a wedding dress at my size. I do not usually write reviews, but at the same time it is rare I leave a business in tears. Plus size girls: If you have a similar experience at Brides and Belles of Tyler, dont let them get you down. You can be a beautiful bride at any size.

Very disappointed in this store. Everything is way over priced and the dresses run way small than other wedding gowns i was trying on elsewhere. And the old lady that was helping me was very rude and my favorite dress I saw in the store that was everything I had been asking for was only 1 size too small and she refused to let me try if on beacause "its not going to fit". Way to crowded with inventory and terrible Customer service. If you dont want to spend over $1500 here dont even bother cuz they wont give you the time of day for anything less!

Great dresses, went for a wedding dress today but left with a formal dress for another occasion. Beware .. clearance wedding dresses usually are missing bead work and/or are falling apart some how. But u can get a $1400 dress for $225. My kind of service, nice, willing to help but not hovering as we clearly knew what we were doing. She checked on us plenty and was very polite. Left with a $300. Formal dress for $20 In my size with no defects ;)

Brides and Belles was a horrific experience for me. We decided to begin my hunt for a wedding dress close to home and were appalled by the lack of professionalism from the sales staff. With guests in the store they proceeded to gossip about their classmates using terrible language. The store decor is outdated, crowded and gaudy. I couldnt get out of their store soon enough. I dont recommend this store at all.

This place SUCKS big time!! The staff are horrible!! I did not get my dress from here but did make the mistake of doing bridesmaid, flower girl, my mom and my fiances moms dresses here. All dresses came in late...they kept getting "lost" in customs???? The only reason they even knew that was because I FORCED them to call and check on the dresses. BRIDES DO NOT SHOP HERE!

I met with Natalie and she was very sweet and very helpful. I explained what I liked and she brought me the perfect dresses. Several bridal shops I have visited just bring me things they like without a thought to what I actually want. The dresses were surprisingly affordable too. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Love the people at this store. They were very helpful when I purchased my wedding dress and years later very helpful with my daughter finding and buying her dress, well be having it altered elsewhere though. The ladys went above and beyond helping her. Thanks to all the ladys that work at the store.
