We had a poor experience trying to purchase a car. The cars are rebuilt/salvage vehicles which are advertised before ready. They are also advertised as having a "clean" title, but a rebuilt title is not considered clean. We called to come see a car advertised as ready to go be inspected by our mechanic and were told it was ready to drive. We showed up when we said and the car was still in the garage with the interior disassembled hooked up to a batter charger. We left and came back about 2 hours later and it still was not in a state that it could be driven, so we drove several other cars, one that didnt have enough fuel that we felt like taking it for test drive and another that didnt have brakes we trusted. When we got back they had the car we were interested in mostly road-read except no passenger seat belt so we didnt feel safe going for more than a 5 minute ride and they still had replace an A/C bearing that was making an awful racket. We came back 2 days later after we were told it was completely ready to go and took the car we were interested in for a ride, but the passenger seat belt still wasnt connected and it didnt have working wiper blades and it started to rain right after we left the shop. We also found an error message with the fuel cap. We said if they could fix the issues wed buy the car and put down a deposit. Never got a call, but a late night text asking when we were coming cause it was ready to go. We showed up expecting the car to be ready to drive home and it wasnt even ready to take for a test drive. We had to wait another hour or so before we could drive it. They fixed both those items and we took it for a long ride only to have the air bag light never go off making us question if it worked and the check engine light came on after 30 minutes of driving and it started having trouble shifting around 39 MPH. We told them to fix those issues and get the car inspected (we insisted on this from day one) and call us when ready. All this time Steve the owner was texting us asking when we were going to come pick up the car because it was ready to go and that he had other buyers. 3 days later we asked if it had been inspected and were told they had been driving it for days without issues. After 4 trips and waiting around for hours to be able to fully vet the car we had enough of dealing with false promises and said we no longer wanted the car and asked for our deposit back. He replied "after all we did to get the car ready you dont want it and expect the deposit back and Im left holding the bag". If the car had actually been READY any of the 4 times we came to drive it this never would have been a problem and if he had 2-3 people already wanting to buy it then how was he stuck holding the bag? According to the advertisement it was ready to be taken to our mechanic or to Honda to be checked out. At no time when we went to view it was it in this condition. I feel like the people working there are hard-working honest folks, but customer interaction and delivering what was promised by the owner sucks.

Steve is one of the nicest, honest and trustworthy guys I have ever met. He does not stop until his customers are 100% satisfied. In hey get what you pay for world, people often push him to the limits trying to receive more than they are paying for. He offers and alternative too overpriced dealer cars and junkers which you drive all over Texas looking for sold by private parties. I have purchased three vehicles in the last five years and they have been nothing less than exceptional in dealing with minor issues that arise. He has a full service staff and charges half of what the dealer would charge which I appreciate deeply. Dont listen to the guy crying about losing his $50 deposit. That was no skin in the game and hardly a "commitment". If you are looking for an exceptional price on a really nice Honda or Toyota, Steve at Superior Auto Brokers is your guy. Thanks for helping us out countless times Steve! Steven Jones Lakeway

These guys care! Steve, Mike, Josh, Anthony.... I know them all very well. Such a refreshing experience compared to sleazy tactics and arm twisting at local dealers and disappointing Overpromise/under deliver cars on craigslist by private party. I purchased 2005 Honda Accord in 2015. Three weeks later the air-conditioning system failed. Turns out it was the AC compressor which I received quotes upwards of $2000. I find out later this is very common with Hondas and was poor engineering. Just like the transmission problems with Honda, I was furious. I contacted Steve and he offered a quote of $750 for everything. I was astounded that he cares and got me taken care of for such a reasonable price. He is serious and committed and although the drive this far, well worth the friendly smile, great value and dedication to making his customers happy. Thanks guys, T. Marten
