If you want an amazing tattoo with an artist that makes you feel like an old friend then come here! My wife and I just got some work done over here and wow! Gotta say it. Masterpiece! Both of them so I guess masterpieces! It was my wifes first tattoo she got our daughters name on her shoulder and it came out so clean! And she felt comfortable the whole time he really knows what hes doing! And I got a bear with my daughters nickname it is definitely my new favorite tattoo!! Ive had one bad tattoo in San Diego California and one really good one in Cali as well. And Ive had a good one in Lubbock Texas but this one! Just wow its much better than really good its amazing! I had an idea and he was able to bring it together better than I couldve ever imagined! So to sum it up if you want a super friendly and respectful atmosphere and you want a tattoo that you can always be proud of then come here! Oh and prices are spot on perfect which is the cherry on the amazing deal your getting! He definitely will not take advantage. Great work ethic so anytime Im in the area heck even if Im not in the area I would make the drive up here just for the perfect tattoo. Thanks again for the art and the great experience! My wife and I look forward to future perfection.

Called today for an appointment and Vahid was initially booked. After a month of researching the "perfect" place to go, I was slightly disappointed that Id have to wait on my tattoo since Im not on the island long. (Dumb on my part for not scheduling!) He called me a few hours later stating he had availability -- in which he could give me a tattoo. LOVE IT! I got "Hesed" tattooed, which is the Hebrew word Chesed meaning a loving-kindness which is only experienced through and from God, and was glad to have a gentle-giant doing the tattooing! I loved on the beautiful black dogs (heart melted!!) and was thankful for the precautions taken with sanitizing everything. Great shop, strongly recommend!

We were in South Padre for a Vacation and Vahid did art work on 4 of us. All were amazing pieces! He is very talented! His shop was very clean and welcoming. He has two beautiful friendly dogs that are very well mannered that make the shop feel like home. Vahid was down to earth, funny and genuinely kind. The prices were very reasonable and well worth the quality of his talent and time. Absolutely pleased and will definitely travel all the way from Nebraska to get more work done!!! My girlfriend and I were for our summer vacation in South Padre Island and we both got a tattoo at Magnum Optus Tattoo Company. We read so many good reviews about this tattoo shop and decided to pass by. We both got a small tattoo done by Vahid. His lines were shaky and both of our tattoos got infected. First the skin around the tattoo was very red, then a fat crust came with lots of pus under it. After it healed, most of our tattoo fell out and the skin shows tiny areas of scares. We definitely have to get them covered up. We are so disappointed. We thought he is a professional?

I got to know this artist when he was starting out working out of his house. Not only is he one hell of a artist, doing things with ink that blows my mind, hes one of the best guys I have ever got the pleasure to meet, conversation with, and befriend in my life. He gave me a rediculoisly detailed tat of armor on my upper arm. NO ONE, could have done what he did. Im damn proud to wear his art work for the rest of my life and I wear it proud! I visited a few other shops on the island and had a few bad experiences. But as soon as I walked through the door I was greeted and truly felt welcomed. We went here for a cover up and he was so personable and did an awesome job on the tattoo. We were on our one year anniversary and decided that some work was due while visiting S. Padre Island. We plan to drive back to his shop, 6 hours away for more work! We told him what we wanted and he hand drew it and made it happen. My husband is nervouse about needles and he made him feel so comfortable! His shading and all is bad ass! We would highly recommend him!

This place was very sterile, very clean, and the artist is very knowledgeable about shading, solid lines and colors. I went to this place while on a vacation and his prices for his work were very reasonable. He is a very funny and chill dude who makes the time spent there at his shop very entertaining. He was great during the consultation process too - talking to us about placement, sizing, then drew a design from scratch that neither of us could fault.
