I felt as if I was discriminated against because of my disability. First of all, I was unable to use the automatic buggy because I was told I wasnt " heavy enough". Ive a pretty debilitating case of ms and lose weight as a result. But I weigh 165lbs! How fat do you have to be to use one of those things? Second, a manager pulled me out of line to put me in a line that would go faster for us. Good, right? Wrong. The cashier who wasnt even wearing a name tag rudely told me that the same manager told her that she was leaving the register and that the register was going to self checkout. So I called the manager over there to resolve the situation and all she did was say " Im sorry". Did absolutely nothing to help. Meanwhile, I lost my place in the line I was in so it cost me another 15 minutes of standing in line to get checked out by the same cashier that was so rude to us previously. AND the line she was working in did not become a self checkout, another young man came in to operate the register. The store assistant manager came down after I made so much noise to the rude cashier who I asked to get her manager over here ignored me after asking 3 times for a manager. This store is becoming just like every other walmart. Hiring people who dont care about customer service and hiring inexperienced managers so they can pay them less I guess.

Earlier today I went to buy a pair of headphones, I was going to pay at the self-checkout but then a note poped up saying "please wait for assistance". Then an employee came and he had to call the manager, when the manager was called she said get a different pair of headphones. So I went all the way back to get another pair, when I went to pay that one they told me that the headphones werent ready for sale yet. And if they werent on sale, why are they out on display for all the customers to come and see them? You may be saying "well that was an accident" or "that wasnt their fault", but it is their fault for not correctly telling the employees to keep the headphones in stock, and the employees were very irresponsible by not telling any customers about the incident. But the other day two of my friends went to do the exact same thing. One successfully got the pair of headphones, but the other was told the same thing I was. Not only that, they werent even trying to help my case and told me to get a differeInt pair of headphones or to get out, then that was when I had it. I told them "or maybe you should perhaps learn to be nicer and nock some sense into the employees heads, then the next thing that happens after that they kick me out. If there was a -5 star button, I would happily choose it.

The best Walmart Ive ever been to. Its clean. The staff are friendly. Very little waiting time to check out. Hardly ever crowded. Ive always dreaded going to Walmart. Most of the time Id go 20 minutes out of my way just to hit a Super Target and avoid the hell Id experience at a Walmart. Ive been going to this one since it opened and love it. Never had a problem. I wasnt excited when I saw all the self check out lines. If your like me, youve probably normally avoid such lines cause you dont want to bag and re bag the "unknown product in bagging area" crap. Then wait 10 minutes for an employee to stomp over there to scan their badge and punch in a code to get the dang thing to work again. Well Ive used these self check outs a couple of dozen times now and its always gone smooth. If they get too busy the cashiers take over the lines and begin checking out customers. Like I said, best Wal-Mart Ive ever been to.

Where do I begin?? Ugh!!! Majority of cashiers are so rude and super slow. Thank goodness for all the self check out registers!!! I have had to encounter 3 different supervisors at the front end and all 3 were so rude and did NOT want to be bothered! They were literally huddled around laughing and discussing something on there phones!!! This one blonde lady was not only rude to me, but was so disrespectful to the cashier calling her stupid!! Management has no concern for there employees or customers!! There was Only one manager (Aaron) that was super helpful and very polite but he transferred to another store (smart move) Lawn and garden employees just stand there and when you ask for help they drag there feet! I dont know what is going on but when they first opened the store was amazing but now I would rather travel out of my way to go to another store.

Shawn walker, Im sorry to hear about your bad experience at the royce city location I currently work there as a cart pusher. I just want you to know that I do weigh 165 and the carts work just fine with me on them. Who ever told you that you dont weigh enough is completely wrong. Sometimes the sensors act up and you have to turn the cart off and then turn it back on and it will work just find. I try my best to make customers happy and help out the best I can. Not all employs are rude . Id ask you to come back in and give it a other shot. Most of the employs I associate with arent rude and enjoy helping customers out.

Seems that an employee in Walmart distribution thinks that they know better than the customers do. I have checked several stores several times for a particular brand, none was found from Greenville to Rowlett, shelf was marked for the brand I was searching for but empty. Not stocking certain brands because someone thinks they know what is best or not their favorite does not provide an incentive to continue shopping at Walmart. This app requires use of the stars to rate the experience but the Walmart stores do not get a single star.

The store is always clean and its usually pretty easy to find someone to help. Although I do have to look, its very unusual anymore for anyone to offer help at Walmart. This particular store lacks in the gardening area. The plants are usually in need of watering and look as though they are dying. I dont recommend buying plants here. This store offers tons of self serve registers though. I definitely prefer it over the Rockwall store. Which was WAY to small the day they opened it all those years ago.

Brand new electric carts for handicapped shoppers. The handicapped parking is well marked and there are lots of handicapped parking spaces available. The store is well planned. There is a store map on the wall by the grocery section which makes it very easy to plan my shopping runs. Being physically disabled is not a problem in this store. Staff are unfailingly cheerful, helpful and polite. I can ALWAYS find a staff member to help me.

I have to say this is the nicest and friendliest Walmart Ive been to. I went to the Lawn and Garden Section and I a few questions and I talked to a young lady I believe her name was Jennifer. She was very helpful and seemed to know a lot about that part of the store. She was very nice. I will definitely continue to shop here!
