I believe I had posted this previously and it was taken down so I will post this again. I have a problem with social anxiety. I tend to become overwhelmed in public places. I even break into a sweat and my heart will sometimes start racing. I have never stolen in my life and I of course have forgotten things in my cart but was always quick to return it. Which has only happened once. I have never been arrested either. But when I went with my friend who brought her baby in the stroller, we decided to just put our thing on the stroller like hanging clothes on it. Well I was walking around debating if I wanted a $1.98 bottle of nail polish on sale. It was also the same color as my friends stroller. So we get to checkout and Im looking around to just put the nail polish somewhere. But my friend was asking for help and I needed to get my wallet. I thought I set the nail polish down so I loaded the belt and got my wallet. We didnt walk out the store when theft protection approached us and told us to follow we asked why because we were confused but the women refused to speak to us. So we get to the office and I quickly remember the nail polish. I forgot to set it somewhere. It was on the top stroller. I was already freaking out heart racing, in tears. Because it became very clear they were going to arrest me. MP was called and told me lawyers normally dont want us to say anything, so I didnt. It back fired later on that, because they said I never gave a statement. This has never happened to me. One MP stated that it was a good thing that this happened on base or they would have beaten me. Wrong, my uncle worked for theft protection at Target. Said $1.98 he either wouldnt bother or just ask you to pay for. BX did neither. So they arrested me, took my info and debarred me from base, confiscated my military ID, charged me $200, and all the while I was pregnant. My husband was away, and I was basically alone dealing with all of this. I told one of the MP I have never stolen. He explained that they did this to a mother with 3 kids because of milk duds. He even apologized that this happened to me. Later we asked to see the video and they illegally with held it from me. Now I have a record for theft and Im having a hard time finding a job to help support my family. All because of $1.98 accident. They basically took away my voice and ruined my record. Please be careful when shopping here. If you have social anxiety please do not shop here.

Its the typical exchange. Its supposed to be for the troops. The prices are high. The merchandise is high end designer. Such as Coach, Rachel Rae and Michael Kors. Its just another store full of overpriced junk which no one can afford to buy. To think that its supposed to be for under paid service people.

Hard to rate one Exchange in San Antonio over the other ones. Randolph AFB has a selection of firearms that you wont find at Ft Sam. Also have more sporting goods in this exchange. Been shopping the Exchange System 52 years, and it gives back to programs supporting our military personnel. So I rate it a Great.

Tax-free shopping! Lacks stock in certain specific items: variety of weights (only 5lb, 30, 35, 40), keurig reusable coffee filters, certain calibers of ammunition low or unavailable...great for general shopping though! Also offers price matching on their products on top of being tax free

First time back in over 20 years. Lots had changed for the better, but it is still an AAFES establishment. I get the military mindset, but to keep people coming in, you need to go commercial mindset. Good start, but more needs to be done.

Good size for an exchange, with a plaza of smaller stores (including a Starbucks) and a small restaurant area. Generally clean. Some of the independent vendors inside the building (but outside the exchange) can be annoying.

Excellent prices on top of no tax. Superb customer service and great stock. Even though they were having issues with their computer systems they served everyone in a quick methodical manner.

Living a few minutes from Randolph is super convenient and this PX since the renovation is night and day from what it used to be. Oh and a gun store inside... come on! Best BX ever!

Great place to shop. It is similar to Wall Mart, without grocery items. Plus there is a refill Pharmacy. Now that is really great. Always nice, friendly, and helpful people.

Not bad as far as size, but dont go here if you are in a hurry...the lines are long and slow. Not to mention there are only a few open at a time.

Very nice BX. It is pretty large and prices are comparable to other similar stores. They carry some high end brands also.

Pretty nice size BX with small selection of wines/liquor. Parking can be difficult on a typical day, can be crowded.
