Oh man. Where do I even begin? I ordered an XBox One via the Best Buy website and chose the option to pick up at store (since it would be cheaper for me to pick it up versus having it over-nighted). Well, after receiving the email that it was ready to be picked up in stores, my boyfriend and I got in the car and left for the Pflugerville location. We live in Round Rock and it was the closest store for the pick up option. When we got there, the lady whom we interacted with was nice and we got out fairly quick. We got home and my boyfriend set up the console and turned it on. After going through the run of the mill start up, he decided to put in one of the XBox One games I also purchased for it. Needless to say, there was a grinding sound coming from the optical drive and it kept telling us to insert disk. After going through what I know needs to be done to try and rectify this, we called XBox and spent 30 minutes on the phone with their tech support (I build computers for a living, so after I couldnt fix it, I knew we needed to return it, but I wanted XBoxs opinion on it as well). So after confirming it was actually a hardware issue, I called the store to let them know we were coming back and we loaded back up in the car and headed back to the Pflugerville location. Im already kind of upset as its already been 2 hours and this shouldnt be happening from a brand new system. After we get there, the same sweet lady was working at the counter and she helped us. She asked a co-worker to bring up a new system for exchange. The co-worker who brought it back was carrying haphazardly and shaking it around and even hit a display on their way through. I mean who could blame them? They obviously didnt want to bring this up and was too busy laughing with other co-workers to be bothered by this! So they threw it up on the counter and swooshed away without saying a word. My boyfriend and I looked at each other and were absolutely APPALLED at what we saw! This box with the new console system had extensive water damage to it and the top of the box was ripped apart. I pointed out how this was absolutely unacceptable and this console had serious water damage and I knew it would not work. I even made it a point to alert my boyfriend that I would never have brought up that product as a suitable replacement. I would say we didnt have anymore before bringing that. So this co-worker that we shouldnt have bothered came back and said it was the only one they had, but they would look again anyway. After another 5 minutes of waiting, the co-worker who shouldnt have been bothered haphazardly brought another box, threw it on the counter and swooshed away. Again, I noticed extensive water damage to the box and pointed out the fact that THIS console too was damaged. The bottom of the box was coming apart and the whole box in entirety was still wet!! So the sweet lady at the counter, bless her heart, found us a store in Austin to where we went and exchanged the product. Never again will I trust this store, especially with electronics. The whole thing was unprofessional, crude and downright unacceptable. Shame on the managers who believe this is OK to try and exchange these products the way they are. I suggest you pay for over night or go out of your way to go to another store. My boyfriend and I were HIGHLY disappointed. The only good experience we had out of the whole store and situation was the nice lady who helped us through everything. She deserves a raise.

I have been going to this best buy since it was built about 5 years ago. I have also been camping outside of this best buy every black friday since it was built. For black friday doorbusters, best buy is usually awesome because if they have say 20 tvs, they will print out 20 tickets for these tvs and hand them out to the first 20 people in the line that want them. I am always one of the first groups in line and apparently there is a new policy starting this year that there are no signs for stating this in the store and this is NOT posted anywhere on their website. According to the best buy employee "Tio" (african american lady) they can only hand 1 ticket per group. And she is allowed to assume. I was not with the people next to me but she assumed we were even after telling her otherwise 3 times and telling the manager who did not care. I complained to their manager as did others about her attitude as she caused other stirs with other groups as well. I guess they feel like they can do whatever the hell they want now because they hired security as of 2014. Luckily 2 people ahead of me someone had gotten the ticket for the item I wanted by mistake so they handed it to me. I got what I wanted but this shouldnt of had to have been repaired by a customer. I spend anywhere from $1000-$3000 a year with this company and I am pretty disturbed by their poor behavior.

Absolutely the worst customer service experience in my life.. I purchase a wireless sound bar,sub combo from this location after being sent here from another Best-Buy that was out of stock. Made the purchase drove home and started to install this equipment , all of this within an hour of purchase . When we opened the box and discovered that the sound bar looked like it had been dropped out of a truck running 90 mph , bad water damaged ,and serial numbers that didnt match the sub . I immediately called the store and reported the damage. I was told to bring the item back to the store and they would replace it. Well I hoped back in the truck went to customer service and Chris informed me that he was not going to refund or replace defective equipment because of serial numbers not matching.. I had just purchased this item an hour earlier from this store . I called 1888 best buy customer support from the stores phone and the customer support team couldnt get this mega jerk to refund or replace the product. I have never been through a customer service experience like this one but after dealing with such a jerk I needed to write this review. Best Buy is refunding the entire thing and documented this exchange with the store m anager but I would suggest avoiding this location at all cost.

I cannot even begin to express how great of an experience I had this morning at this Best Buy. I have spent the last 2 days on the phone and at stores trying to get my daughters Sprint iphone hooked up on the boost network. After 3 different answers and 3 different sets of options, I decided to go to the Best Buy 1 mile from my house. I was there before the doors opened and was greeted with a pleasant good morning and asked who I needed to speak to about a cell phone. I was directed to a girl named Tera, dont know if I spelled it right, anyways I told her of my last 2 days of utter frustration and she listened to me and took the reigns and to make a long story short got it done for me like a seasoned vet. She is awesome and if every Best Buy employee was able to provide the same level of service that Tera did, then Best Buy would be the #1 electronics store in the world IMHO. Thank you Tera for an amazing experience and accomplishing what others could not in 2 days worth of trying, If there were more than 5 stars to give. you would get them all in my book. Your Awesome, Thanks.
