So my iPhone 6 plus only charged if I shut my phone off so i could barely use my phone, I made an appointment with an apple genius to see what the could do to fix it, I met with the apple genius and he told me one of the metal parts in the charging port had bent and he immediately said that there is nothing you can do and that they cannot replace the chargin port and you will need to buy a new phone. Of course I didnt have enough money to buy another overly priced apple phone so I stuck with my broken one. I even checked myself to see if it was bent in the charging port and I didnt see anything bent. My dad found a company called iCracked and its people who come to your house and fix it directly so we tried that, and the guy was able to get into the phone and REPLACE the charging port, it literally took 30 min and it only costed 80 dollars. I want everyone to know that although iphones are great, apple itself is so selfish and all they want to do is suck out all of your money, dont waste your time with apple because they either dont know whats wrong or they say there is no solution and that you have to buy a new one. iCrack is where its at.

Came in ready to spend $$$ on my work laptop. Was told there was a 30 min wait because apparently only "specialists" can check you out and they were all helping Genius Bar customers. Extremely unhelpful front door employee with attitude who cant help you with anything (in case you are wondering). Equally unhelpful manager who also cant do anything. Standing in the store, was told by the manager "you shouldve really ordered it online." What a solid piece of advice I could immediately act on. I then asked if I could buy it online and pick up in store, was told it was take at least 2 hours because of "processing." Some pretty cutting edge pay technology happening there. Who knew purchasing Apple products was such an event. Literally trying to get Apple to take my money and couldnt do it in under a half hour. On a Monday night. Save your time and patience either Postmates or go to a real store with cashiers. Wait, apparently cashiers are "not cool." 0/5 would not recommend to my worst enemy. Update: went to Best Buy down the road, in and out under 10 min. Unrelated: cant wait for the new Google phone.

Wow this store surprised me, and not in a good way. I brought my Macbook pro in to get looked at and see how much it would cost to fix the hinges on it. After waiting at the Genius bar for over 30 minutes they fianlly looked at my MCBpro, they even took it in the back for 5 minutes and brought it back out and then told me it would cost $300.00. I was schocked because I knew macbook pro hinges cost $3.00 for a set on amazon. When I said $300.00 for a hinges? They replied "oh well the reason why its $300.00 is because we have to install a new LCD screen to fix the issue the reason why the hinges are built on to the LCD screen". Which is a lie because 3 screws hold the hinge to the LCD, so yes you can just replace the hinges. which was the complete opposite of what the guys at Genius bar was telling me. So I told them "no thank you", and fix the issue my self for a total of 25 bucks. $3.00 for a set of hinges, $7.00 for a new clutch cover, and $15.00 on tools. So yea very disapointed in how they over price a job which was a simple fix.

I bought my first Apple MacBook Pro a few months ago. I do not know how it happened but there seem to be several passwords on this computer and somehow I must have changed some but not the others and now i constantly get these keychain password errors and cant use my computer to its full potential. Then i tried to get support. I also purchased the additional help support feature when I bought the notebook. I learned that help is not available right away. You have to schedule a call from Apple support and you will be called "around" that time frame. The first level support knew about as much as I do about Apple computers and I am still waiting for the second tier call from Apple and that has been several days ago. So far I can say that Dyson, the vacuum company has a better customer support than Apple. And I am happy with my vacuum but not with the Apple computer and its support.

Tried to swap out a frayed iPhone charger due to wear and tear. Ive done it twice previously at other Apple Stores without problem. I went to one associate who said I could either talk to a technician or as she suggested buy a new one. She sent me into a line where 10 minutes later I was sent to the technician who told me I couldnt swap it out because I wasnt covered on AppleCare. Both times I had done this before, I walked in, showed them the frayed cord and walked out with a new cord in less than a minute. I also wanted to buy a new aux cord which the first associate gave to me, but before I left I realized she had given me an extender for an aux cord, not an actual cord. Otherwise, the place was super packed and didnt look like anyone was being helped. Will gladly go to the Apple Store at The Domain from now on despite it being much further away

I have had horrible experiences with apple as of lately here at Barton creek mall in austin TX, the worst of them all is that I took my 32 GB phone in to get fixed but ended up having to get the phone replaced due to the extent of the damage and I received back a 16GB phone but did not realize it until 3 weeks later when I tried to download all the previos apps I had and all of the content I had on my previous phone it would not let me because of the lack of storage so I call apple back and let them know of my concern and the answer they give me is "it is impossible for us to have given you the wrong phone, we dont make those mistakes" meaning I will not be helped! I spend so much money on apple products the least I deserve is a reasonable explanation! The icing on the cake is when I call apple directly they love to hang up on me!

I took my 2011 15" macbook pro in for a repair as it wasnt starting. Turned out the issue was covered by Apple, some sort of graphics card issue or something, so no cost to me for the repair. Just picked up my laptop today, turned it on, everything seemed fine, only to get it home and when I checked the "About this Mac" it said it only had 2GB of memory. This is a 4GB memory computer. So I opened the bottom panel and see one of the memory pieces is missing! So what happened, did the repair person forget to put it back in or did someone steal it? This laptop has NEVER been out of my possession until I took it here. Needless to say, I was very upset, but I took my laptop back to the store and they made it right by replacing the missing 2GB of memory. The staff are all very nice people. I love apple products.
