Amazingly bad service, there will be an employee or 2 who have a great smile and offer wonderful customer service but they seem to work only part time. The manager is an idiot who argues with customers and when I called corporate to let them know, the dm never got back to me.

On the pricy side but there again which craft store is as cheap as Amazon? The employees are knowledgable and friendly. There is a very good assortment of crafting supplies though Hobby Lobby has them beat.

A good alternative to Hobby Lobby. They have a lot of the same or similar art supplies except theres not a wide swath of tacky, overpriced, kitsch taking up space. Very helpful staff.

The biggest problem with Michaels is that they carry too many interesting and beautiful things! Lucky for us, they have online coupons, usually good for 40% off one item. Hurrah!
