Hello, I live a couple of miles from the new Walmart Neighborhood Market on Virginia Parkway in McKinney, TX. Our family was excited to visit the new store so my wife and I took our 2 younger boys on a family bike ride to the store. Our boys love riding their bikes and we thought this would be a fun new location we could start visiting for outings. However, once we got there, we quickly realized that there was nowhere to park a bike. I then asked the associate at the customer service center if they had any bike racks and she said no. I then asked if there was a place we could put our bikes and she said she didnt know. I then asked two other employees and they said said that the store doesnt have a bike rack and offered no other alternative. This was disappointing because we had no other option then to return home without being able to visit the store. We expected that since it was a "neighborhood" market, that it would have at least a small bike rack for its customers. Very disappointing. Ray

Im not really understanding some of these reviews. I never shop Walmart Super Stores because frankly the customers, not the staff, are generally really rude and look at items and drop then on the floor to put them back in places other then where they belong, just messy. I loved my Mckinney Tom Thumb, but when they closed & Minyards took over it was awful, no checkers & sometimes empty shelves (for gosh sakes they were out of creamy Jif). Any way, if TT was still around I would have never even gone into this Walmart Market, but glad I did. Its neat, its clean, and every staff member Ive met has been friendly (from stockers who greet you when you pass to the checkers who are outgoing and friendly). They have well stocked shelves, and I dont even know why anyone would say their produce is awful, its well displayed, fresh looking and has lots of variety. So far, I give the store, the staff and the food and sold 5 stars

Generally a very pleasant shopping experience here. I work an odd schedule and stay away at peak times. Gas is usually cheap to mid-range on prices. Fountain drinks at the gas station are frequently $0.88, which is nice in Texas, and they have good brewed iced tea. The store and bathrooms have been very clean and well-maintained to date. I was unhappy about this store going in initially, as I felt it would ruin McKinneys local charm, and we already have 2 Walmarts west of Hwy 75, but I have grown to like this store a lot. Convenience has overruled the initial concerns about it reducing local charm.

This Walmart is only a grocery store. It is set-up very neatly and clean. I find it easy to find what I need in the store. Workers are are friendly and helpful. This Walmart has a gas station. Remember to use your Walmart gift card to get .03 off each gallon. The helpful thing about it is the gas station is owned by Walmart so you can fill up your gift card in the gas station shop. (Other you will need to go into Walmart store to fill gift cards. )

As my life seems to get busier by the hour, I decided to try the grocery pick up service last Friday. I was very impressed! I called them as soon as I picked up my babies at daycare to let them know I was on my way. And I called them once I arrived and parked on one of the designated spots. Exactly 2 minutes later I was exiting the parking lot with all my groceries loaded in my Suv! I felt like a champion!

While other supermarket brands are working hard to improve the surroundings, quality and selection of their stores, Walmart is singularly focused on growth and building store to direct-compete with these brands. Problem is, walmart is making a small version of the behemoths signature: A big box with poorly treated employees, scant selection and little regard for the customer. This store is all that.

The Pick Up idea is genius! Is challenging to buy groceries with babies, this service is the best idea ever, the service is great, on time, everything I ordered was there, two good looking guys came to load my groceries with a lady I think she was supervising, wonderful experience, this is the new way for to buy groceries. 5 golden stars! Thank you Walmart!

Unlike the Super Walmarts, the Neighborhood Market is easier to navigate due to the small size and the selection is still good. I also find the people that work at this market are very friendly, helpful, informed about what they have, and if they dont know something they do their best to find out.

If you HAVE to go to a Walmart, make it a Neighborhood Market. This place is still new enough that it is clean. Ask me again in a year...hopefully it still has that "new store" smell and luster. On the bright side, their gas station is usually a better price than surrounding spots.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this store is. While its primarily a market it has a nice pharmacy, pet items, grooming products, and more. I havent come in contact with staff because I use self checkout. Its the best self checkout lane Ive seen. The gas is cheap too!

I do all of our grocery shopping at our neighborhood Walmart. Produce could be better but for convenience I dont mind. And the pharmacy is off the chart one of the best Ive ever dealt with! We love our neighborhood Walmart!!

Neat, clean, and convenient for the people in the new nearby developments. Theres a surprising amount of products in such a small store. Ive always found what I needed, except for once when I wanted candles. But thats okay!

I have had a pleasant experience with everyone at this new location. I have been very please with their service and the quality of their products. Take note, you HAVE to try their pizzas that are sold back in the deli!!

I dislike the Wal Mart department store but I love their Neighborhood Market. It is small for a grocery but fills in the "quick buy" need nicely. Staff are friendly. The building is new and clean.

Just a grocery store and not a super Walmart, but good food selection with good prices. You can also pre-order your groceries online and just pickup! Very helpful employees as well and very nice.

Clean, well kept, friendly. Produce is better than most Wal-Marts. Able to get in and out quickly and they usually have good gas prices. Great place to stop in for a quick item or two.

There is a smaller selection of food here, it all seems stuffed and cramped on the shelves, and the staff arent very welcoming or friendly; its as if they are not motivated or something.

The store offers free online ordering pick up so you dont even have to go in to get your groceries. Its very handy if you have lots of kids and not a lot of time to shop for groceries.

A great in and out type of Wal-Mart they will only have the house basics but if you want to avoid the big crowds and picked out feel of a Super Wal-Mart this is the place to go.
