today I have bad experience with one of the staff at Walmart store ( 8040 Independence Pkwy, Plano, TX 75025 ) .. when I was doing my self check out counter , I have done all the items check out , except two items does not have the barcode . I asked help . one old staff member came then I requested help on entering into the system with the items ( cucumber , corn ) because it does not have bar code .. walmart employee : He immediately replied " Do you know where I am ? myself : I checked around and said I am at self check out . walmart employee : Next question by him is " then why did you come here ? " myself : hmm .. ( silence ) I dont know what to answer . mysef : please help me on checking out these items , it does not have bar code . walmart employee : he just took the items and entered some code in the system . myself : I asked " how do you remember all the codes ? ( expecting he will laugh and taken it easy about my mistake in entering self-checkout counter ) walmart employee : then some one called him , he just left . myself : In the mean time I was paying my bill , completing transaction . walmart employee : he was taling to other lady telling about myslef . " Did you see this guys how they are ? " I was just 5 ft away from them , heard about chatting . walmart employee : He came back and asked " can you pay the bill ? or Do I want him to pay the bill ? myself : no answer .. I just went out and was thinking about this bad experience . I never faced this kind of person, who talk with out smile in face with arrogance answers . and came back to walmart customer center and complained about it . Over all I feel bad , it hurted my feeling the way he talks as if I have done a big mistake .!! even I went home and thinking abou it ..

This Walmart Neighborhood Market recently went under a major renovation. Previously, the selection was pretty slim, but that was alright with me. I loved avoiding the massive crowds at nearby Walmart Supercenters. After the renovation, they carry a lot more product and its a lot like a Walmart Supercenter with the food aisles, pharmacy and beauty. Oh, plus the deli. Employees Id seen in there frequently seem to be gone though and replaced with a lot of people whom English is a second language. After trying to buy Halloween candy on sale after the holiday, they argued with me that it wasnt Halloween candy when it didnt ring up correctly. Thats the worst possible time for a language barrier. I ended up leaving without the product after going through the entire purchase attempt five times with five different people, each time retelling the story. In the end, I was told no one on premises was able to change the price in the system. Surely that isnt the case, but it did appear to be and is not good for business at all. Especially one that price matches and freely advertises that. Hopefully things are running smoother.

The pharmacy should be shut down. Worst service Ive ever experienced. Twice they tried to charge me $40+ for a generic prescription that should have been $12. Then they argued about it. They basically want nothing to do with you. Youd be far better off getting your prescriptions at the Kroger down the street. Very nice and accommodating. The main stores service is better. Store prices are consistent with other Walmarts in this area.

Rude people who work here. Dont do business here. Also the one in McKinney still hasnt paid to get my car repaired due to damage in their parking lot. Jen is nasty lady who will screw you over. I hope you see this you dumb cow. They said for the inconvenience they caused they would give me $20 gift card but they lied. They stole $5 from me and well they were unprofessional and rude. Ill be calling headquarters tomorrow.

I told the cashier that donuts were sold by the pound (see picture below) and she (an old lady, Jan/01 at 1:10 pm) responded indicating that I was trying to trick her. Then, I took this this picture and showed her. She told me "this is wrong" and DID NOT APOLOGIZE FOR HER INADEQUATE BEHAVIOR WITH A COSTUMER. Walmart should do a better job in choosing their employes.

This seems to be a smaller version of the WMNs Ive been to before. Accordingly, the selection on some items is more limited. I was really surprised to see the prices of some staples are much higher than in Chicago, bread being one of them. I would think with Wal-Marts purchasing clout theyd have lower prices! Maybe true for some things, not always.

Its Walmart without bulk items or durable goods. Basically, a regular grocery store without a meat, seafood, or deli counter. Kroger has better selection and is right down the street. Tom thumb too. Sprouts has better quality and cheaper produce and is a couple miles away. Only reason to shop here is if you live less than a mile away.

I sometimes use the pharmacy because its very close and the generics are cheaper than CVS, but the customer service is truly terrible! The overall store is better. I go there frequently to pick up a few things, but they do not have a large of selection. For big runs, I always drive the extra mile or so to the neighborhood Kroger.

I like the Neighborhood Market Walmart. Friendly staff and easy to find items. I usually shop around 7pm-8pm and more often than not they are restocking which is aggravating because the boxes take up most of the aisle. Other than that, Im happy with the store. Plus, Savings Catcher helps save money so I dont have to cross shop.

Convenient for picking up a few things, but now most check-outs are self serve, only one or two live cashiers. I dont buy produce, deli or meat here, but it is very close to home, so it is handy to stop on my way home. Many items have limited brand choices, often store brand and one or two others. Prices are reasonable.

Love the Pharmacy! Both Pharmacists as well as all the young ladies working inside the pharmacy exhibit top quality in kindness, professionalism, and the willingness to go beyond measures to assist and help their customers. Highly recommended and Highly appreciated! Good job Walmart!

The pharmacy staff are not as accommodating as other pharmacy staff in other stores. If there was a problem with a Rx, they dont want to spend time helping a customer but would leave it for the customer to fix their own problems. Really poor customer service. Thumbs down!

I have shopped here since this location opened. I have seen several staff and management changes, but there are also some veterans still here. VERY helpful and friendly staff! Excellent location. Great pricing and variety for the small size that it is!

2 Litre Diet Coke for $1! Pretty much says it all. I like that this Walmart has the same products at the *same* price every time I visit. They dont have a bunch of super fancy sections like Whole Foods, but theyve got all the basics covered.
