Horrible experience at the Lubbock Barnes and Noble! Walked in through a mob of teenagers making out and cursing with my 2 year old daughter. Once inside I was met with more disruption as teenagers were running, pushing and shoving my daughter and I around. I went to address the situation with the manager and he stated that he knew and looked away. I told him that I would no longer be coming to the store if it would be this way and he dismissed me with a wave of his hand. Very dissapointed and do not plan on doing business here again anytime soon!

Perhaps the last traditional bookstore in town. Its 2 story, escalator accessible. Downstairs they have a coffee bar and all the magazines. Located at the mall, but the front entrance is accessible without having to go in to the mall. So if you only want to go to the bookstore, it is an easy in and out. I buy my Moleskine notebooks here. They always have a good selection of artist/writer notebook/sketchpads on the first floor.

I am thankful that we still have a B&M bookstore in town! I like to bring my kids to the store whenever I have time to read and enjoy the nice environment. If you are a Nook owner, then you can read some new ebooks there for free. Theres free WiFi so you can browse the Internet if needed. The staff is friendly and customer service is excellent.

I have to say this is the best Barnes and Noble Ive been to! They have a great selection of books and the staff is really friendly! I can never go in here without buying anything! They also have a really good Childrens section too! Its a great bookstore for all ages!

Great place to find all sorts of books and novelty items. Always always a joy to walk around and find something new. The crowd of teenagers you have to get past though can be annoying. Its like they are just there to hang out when there plenty of other places.

Brass Tacks Events

Smaller than many Barnes & Noble retail locations that Ive been to. Connected to the South Plains Mall, so thats good if you have to shop for a few other mall-type necessities. Starbucks cafe inside.

A little expensive at times, but the customer service and the selection is excellent! I also want to thank Leslie at the customer service desk for helping my wife and I find a very hard to locate item.

Nice store, semi friendly people, no chairs. Why cant i sit? I know, "this isnt a library". But if i want to read a few pages to make sure it would be a worth while purchase, i need to sit!

Large selection, but dont go there Saturday or Sunday night bc the mall has a lot of thugs and I guess they like bookstores?
