Ive been shooting here for 6 years now, and Ill never be going back. The owner, Jack, and his son, Trey, are extremely condescending. If you ever need them to do anything, expect nothing but exasperated sighs and grumbling. Paying customers are apparently a burden to them. The clay machines break targets regularly if they are even filled, and rarely throw targets within regulation. In addition, I tried to purchase a suppressor from Jack last January, and even after 6 months he could not give me any proof that he had submitted any of the requisite forms to the ATF. It may be more expensive and a longer drive, but go to Apache Rifleworks or Bandera Gun Club. Youll be much more satisfied.

Though sporting clays is shown on the website I was told that it is not regularly open - only occasionally for special sporting clay matches. I have been there twice in January and and 5 stand was not open. Skeet ranges work fine and are operated with a smart chip key that is prepaid with your number of targets. Rose and the rest of the staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is on top of a hill northeast of Kerrville with great Texas hill country views.

When you drive toward this shooting range on Cypress Creek Road, you wont be able to find it. They either will not or can not keep a sign up to guide you to their shooting range. So, find a different shooting range. Also, when you get all ready to go to the shooting range, if you should happen to find the shooting range by accident, it most likely will be closed because you showed up on the wrong day. You have to guess which day they are open.

Checked this place out yesterday. Its about a 40 minute drive from my place in Boerne, but the drive is a nice one through the hill country. The range is outdoor, and the staff was welcoming and friendly. I did some rifle shooting at 50 and 100 yards with my 600 Mohawk chambered in 308 Win, and a bit of pistol at 10-15 yards with my FNX 45 ACP. The stalls are covered and the crowd was safe and friendly.

Ive been here a few times and each time I come back, they have something new to offer. Whether it be added ranges, more space, or and overall refined atmosphere. Each time Ive come, the staff is courteous, enthusiastic, and welcoming to any and all those who love to spend time at the range. Id recommend it!

The range staff are friendly while still being safety first. Also love the fact they have steel plate from 200 to 500 yards on one range open the first and third weekend of the month. Range fees are reasonable. FYI if you reload, they will allow you to pickup your brass as long as its done safely.

My fiancé and I had a great time at the awesome range! Rose and all the staff we came in contact with were very friendly and helpful. Even the "regulars" went out of their way to help us out. We live 4 hours away, but well be back! No wonder this range is an Olympic training center! !

This is a great range to go to, prices are reasonable, staff are nice, and there have been some recent additions and improvements to the ranges to make the experience better for visitors. Would recommend to anyone.

Depending on who is in charge of the range makes a big difference... Owners are great people though.

LOL, you call this a range. More like poor pasture field with some old trap machines
