I had the worst experience ever at this store and because of that, it will be my last time of Shopping at Home Goods. To begin with, I bought 2 pieces of Art at this store on 2/23/2016 for $99 each and put it on hold to be picked up much later. On 3/4/2016, I went to the store to pick up my purchase but was only given one of the art work and was told by the manager (KRISTY WEBBER) that the other piece was somewhere else in the store. I then explained to the manager that both pieces where there leaning against each other but she argued that the other piece was not mine. I then explained to her that on the day I bought the picture, the bigger one did not have a tag and one of her reps made a new $99 tag for it. I even showed her a picture of both art works on my phone which I took when I was making the purchase but she sarcastically said to me “ Anyone can take a picture in the store so your picture does not mean anything”. I was so shocked when she said this in a very rude and condescending manner so I asked for the manager and it was then she mentioned that she was the manager. At this point my hands was tied and she kept arguing that the picture I wanted was not mine. She was so rude to me and my son telling us that “anyone could come in the store to make claims” insinuating that I might be trying to steal the picture. This was the most embarrassing moment of my life. Other shoppers were passing by and they shook their heads in amazement and disdain as to how the store manager handled the situation and how she was being so rude. In order not to case a scene, I demanded that she looked at the tag on the picture I claimed was mine and our greatest surprise, the tag number on the picture matched the exact tag number on my receipt. It was at this point she got embarrassed and instead of resolving the situation amicably, she began to say “ I don’t care, this is not your picture. I will not sell a $250 picture for $99”. She then called one of her staff (MITCH JOHN) and explained the situation to him. At the point, Mitch explained to his boss, Kristy that the mistake was from the customer service representative who initially tagged the picture for $99 and sold it to me for that price. He also confirmed that I was the rightful owner of the picture based on the tag on the picture and on my receipt for pick up. However , his manager was stuck on not giving me the picture. I later told KRISTY WEBBER (the manager) to own up that her rep made a mistake in tagging the picture wrongly but she refused to admit saying I can call anyone I want to or even call the corporate office and that if I did that, they would laugh at me. I was so shocked that a manager would utter such words in front of her staff. The situation was so embarrassing as she made so much noise and caused a scene even when she was clearly at fault. I was utterly disappointed and embarrassed that I had to return the picture I picked up and the one I never picked up. Customers should never be treated this way by anyone, let alone a store manager. She had the worst attitude ever and uttered words like “ I don’t care because people come into the store and steal things”. Well, I guess she targeted me because of my skin color (Black) even though I had my receipt in hand and her staff (MITCH JOHN) who was black also confirmed that the mistake was made by them and not me. I would never step foot at this store anymore and would advise anyone going to the store to stay away from “KRISTY WEBBER”. She is not deserving of her position as a store manager and I am highly disappointed that a store like HomeGoods will have someone with that attitude manage their store. As she advised, I will take this up with corporate and see if I am being laughed at.

I had a horrible experience at this location today 5/9/2016. the manager (Kristy) on duty should not be the manager of any store she is the rudest manager I have ever came across shopping anywhere. I purchased 2 beautiful lamps along with other merchandise. Not all of what was purcahsed could fit in my Suv so we put them on hold to come back and get. There was 5 items left including the lamps to be picked up. Upon return to pick up items we were informed that the lamps had been resold, i thought she was playing, but she was not.She asked for my receipt so she could find them at another store, which I felt like she could have done before I returned being that she was the one who rang me up. After allegedly calling other stores she informed me that she couldnt find them. i was so disappointed because i really wanted the lamps that"s why I bought them. Another associate tried to help, she was so rude to him, I couldnt believe my ears, I looked at her & said that he was only trying to help, I guess he could see the disappointment on my face. she then started to loud talk my son asking where he been she thought he was coming right back, like it was his fault. I told her where he had been is not relevent mind you it was maybe 3 hrs later upon our return for the items. She continued with her rude & sarcastic remarks like it was no big deal. I followed her to the registered remain calm not to make a scene because in the back of my mind Im thinking I have to report this women to corporate. I have never posted a complaint on any website or called corporate on anyone but this is well deserving. I will share more in detail with corporate of all that happened. I will not spend another dime at this Home Goods as long as she is working there. I have spent thousands in the last 3 weeks at this location alone. End comment: Black people be aware of her at this location dont spend your $. she has a problem.

Dont ever put your stuff on hold at the front or somebody else will take it. I found an entry way shelf this afternoon at the store and told not one but 2 cashiers that I wanted to put it on hold while I go shopping for more. One of them (cashier #1) even said "which one, oh that white shelf? yeah, you can just leave it there and come back when youre ready." It was right next to her. So I left it at the front where the other "on hold" items are parked. About 10-15 minutes later I was ready to check out and went to pick up the shelf. Well, alas it was gone. I asked the cashiers where it went and all I got was "I dont know". Go figure!

The supervisor Ashley was rude and not professional. When I was ready to check out a coffee table, their were no tag or pricing info found. So she throw a random price, which is 29% higher than all the other coffee tables, and said that thats within her power. She told us that she will hold this item and have the store manager callus when the store manager is back. But nobody ever called us.
