First of all, the hours state they are OPEN until 10. We arrived at 9:45 coming into town from a long trip looking to make a to go order. The doors were already locked. We went back for lunch today. There were several people working, 3 available to help through the salad line and it seemed no one wanted to. Finally the girl who did help looked like she hated life. My salad was made sloppy and my cup of soup bowl was dirty. Our glasses for our drinks were foggy and wet indicating they had been washed but they were turned upside down which could harbor bacteria if not aired out properly. Once I dried it with a napkin, there were water stains and smudges. as we ate and people left, tables were not bused or cleaned off. A man spilled his drink trying to clean off a table himself to eat at and still no one came to his aid or offered to replace his drink. We then went to the bakery counter to get dessert. There was one person working it although like I said earlier, there was someone standing at the register for an empty salad line and the girl who helped with soups went to the back. One man kept walking back and forth but did not offer to help the individual behind the counter. Because the bakery worker was alone he kept walking away from customers to get boxes for to go desserts as they were speaking. He also had to manage the register. The line was backing up almost out the door so we left. I personally have worked at a la Madeline and Ive been to several in different cities. This had to be the most poorly maintained and run location Ive ever visited. The customer service was below par and the functionality of workers and roles was non existent. Hopefully changes can be made to ensure a cleaner environment and enhanced overall experience.

This restaurant made my mother cry. It had been a very long day with many miles on the road and all we wanted was a reasonably priced good meal. We went here because we had been to others in Austin and they were fine. This location was a completely different animal. The salad had way too much dressing and we were glared at when we asked for less. No one was wearing gloves. All of the glasses were dirty. The drink area was disorganized and filthy. It was hard to find a clean table even though the place was practically empty. When we asked for a sandwich with no tomato we were brought one with the tomato pulled off, which had obviously been in a refrigerator for some time. And the pasta was soggy. Ive never written a review about anything before, but this was truly a horrible experience. I wish I could leave 0 stars.

If youre looking for a taste of France, La Madeleine is a good substitute. Lets face it though, French food is as much atmosphere as it is taste, and La Madeleine provides the feel of a countryside home in southern France. The food is good, although the staff seems to have some trouble using the machines and caused us a delay. My favorite food here is their tomato basil soup, and they have unlimited bread for you to dip. Their sandwiches are also very good, the Crouque Monsieur being my favorite. All in all, good food although the service could be a little better.

This is a wonderful place. Most excellent food, great service, and a wonderful environment for relaxing and enjoying the people, the food, and a comfortable atmosphere. Ive had most everything on the menu over my times here, and I would suggest that if you enjoy something different than a typical "rush you in, feed you food, and rush you out" kind of restaurant... you will find comfort here. These people give service that is worth the effort it takes to find the la Madeline near you. You will remember the food, the atmosphere, and the experience.

I love the food but the to go services are terrible. They can not keep up when they get a little busy. I called my order in and when I got there the lady didnt even know what order I had and she then asked me if someone elses order was mine right after she called the name out and the lady responded. She also asked me if I had made the mistake of restaurant which I did not make because I have ordered there many times and they have my phone number saved. I also think they should have someone prep the orders and someone take care of people .

Being in the Las Colinas area from NYC was nothing short of a pleasant surprise but coming up short was this terrible buffet style restaurant. The food, in short, was pretty bad but I was in Texas and the expecations on something like french onion soup was pretty low but their onion soup was so rich and salty, I cannot recommend it. The chicken in the pasta dish was terrible becuase it was processed and the cheese in both dishes was just bad. It was a cute place and the staff was very sweet and kind but I cannot recommend it.

I have visit La Madeleine quite a few times. I go for the tomato soup and baguettes this particular day. I brought my entire family to dine with me but this particular day this soup have an aftertaste to it. I brought it up to the manager Ruben and he went all out and cooked a new batch for my family and I. It is rare nowadays when you find restaurants that do take care of your guess, in this case I felt right at home so this is why I say thank you to La Madeleine, and my family left home happy

Easily the most likeable french restaurant chains. I wpuld have given 5 stars except that the hygiene is not paid enough attention. I have noticed in my last two visits that the staff does not clean the tables well and the left overs especially coffee are spilt on the floor, it takes sometime for them to notice and clean it. Barring this aspect, my most likeable place for pastas and omelettes

Horrible service, lack of any care for customer service from the top to bottom....maybe the worst ran location in dalas, love the food usually but I hate this location and i literally will chose somewhere else over this place because of the many past bad experiences although I love la madeleine generally

Typical la Madeline. When we went, at breakfast time, all their coffees, except for decaf, were empty and there were a few dirty tables (that hung around for a bit). My wife ordered one quiche and got a different one. Overall the atmosphere, service, and food is what youd expect at a la Madeline.

Came in about 7PM was served quickly gt the albacore tuna salad sandwich that was tasty, jus a little bit difficult to eat since their wasnt much of the croissant on top. But no complaints, just the nature of using croissants as your bread. The French Onion soup was pretty good as well.

First time eating here and was disappointed. The service is really bad. All I asked for was good, from the menu! The hostess and even the guy behind the counter were not informative after telling them it was my first time eating there. The paella was bland. Never coming back.

Ordered the ham and cheese with a side of salad. Horrible, all of it. AND I had to wave down the girl behind the counter on her cell phone, she was not responsive to my questions, and once I got my food home, no utensils, no napkin. First time at La Madeleine, and last time.
