WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. The individuals who work here clearly either hate their jobs or simply hate people. Its impossible to get any assistance, and when you finally find someone, they treat you as if answering your question is the biggest inconvenience to them. Then, there are the folks at checkout. Ive only had one pleasant interaction with a cashier, a younger female, in her mid-20s- 30s. Every other person has been unbelievably rude! They even shame you if you accidentally use a coupon that isnt valid-- a simple "this wont work" would suffice, but no. You get a public shaming in front of the long line of customers impatiently waiting behind you who are always paying attention because theyre all waiting in line for the only open register in the store. Always. I have never seen more than one register open at a time. Honestly, its just not worth my time to shop here any longer. Id much rather pay more for something elsewhere than have to be treated as if employees are really going out of their way to do me a favor in simply doing their jobs.

Employees are useless for information on products or anything that isnt their main job description. For instance a cashier can scan and handle simple cash transactions, fabric cutters can measure to a round number. Today i asked Lydia in custom framing dept a question. Her response was, "I really dont know what the h$@! you are talking about and dont have time to deal with you, because a paying customer is behind you and waiting to pick up his custom frame picture." I was very upset how i was spoken to and more agitated with being pushed aside. I am in this store every other day either buying fabric, patterns, cake decorations, yarn, and etc.... if i was helped by Lydia i would be a paying customer as well and would have finished my DIY project from stuff inside the framing dept. However Micheals is right across street that was happy to assist me and was thrilled $300 worth of framing supplies was purchased. So joanns is great if u can grab and go but not much use otherwise.

No stars actually. No one on the floor to help. When I had to finally interrupt 2 workers who looked depressed and unhappy in life in general, they werent helpful at all. No one smiled. Looked forced to work. Even one shopper was crotchety just like them. I had a very specific question about paint or Dye for carpet. And they just gave me some bad directions on where all the paints were and gave me a face like good luck or figure it out. I know its an odd question but they couldve at least came with me to help me and even if yall dont have it apologize and say sorry and try to suggest something else I dont know bee-friendly be helpful something to earn your keep at this store. This was my first time here and I dont want to come back

Ive been shopping here for awhile, most of my cosplay and furry work comes from here, yes wait times are bad, and sometimes you get workers at the wrong time and they give you some attitude. Youd do the same thing if you had to deal with the amount of customers and managers Ive seen them deal with. I will continue shopping at Joanns and like always will recommend it to fellow cosplayers and seamstresses, happy hunting for what you need, its the last place youll look for it. :)

Ive been here several times over the years but today was the last straw. Dont waist your time or money here. They tend to be poorly stocked and everytime I visited the fabrics section I had an unpleasant encounter with an older lady who worked there. Every time without fail a rude older condescending woman would ruin the experience. So I will go to hobby lobby from now on. A longer drive is worth it to avoid people who shouldnt be in customer service.

Lack of concern for customers - I checked the hours of the store on Memorial Day online and also with the telephone recording - both said the store was open 9 to 9. However, when I arrived at 7 p.m., a sign on the door announced that they had closed at 6 p.m. Sure seems like they could have taken the trouble to correctly report their hours so I would not have wasted time and gas money driving there just to find them closed.

Every time I go into this store, the people who work there find new way to impart rudeness. Every, single, time. I dont think Ive ever seen anyone actually enjoy informing me that one coupon after another didnt apply. No, oh Im sorry or anything. The level of snark with the blond girl with glasses is almost impressive, but I managed to keep from crying in front of her. Honestly though, it was a near miss.

I have been to this store probably 5 times in the last 6 months. I wont go back! Not only are the lines at the cutting counter ridiculous...the staff is not helpful at all. I tried to talk to the store manager about needing more help at the cutting counter....he never came to the front of the store to talk to me. I spend a lot of money at Joann Fabric...NO MORE!!! I will be shopping elsewhere.

I dont understand why people.have problems with the wait time. I never have. Well, maybe once at checkout but it was around the holidays and everyone wanted to make gifts. This place ha been a little dirty but they were remodeling. Never had any issues at all really. Everyone is either sweet or very swamped so they cant help youasap but they do their best. I like this place a lot. Very good.

Terrible terrible wait time. I have never in my life had to wait an hour to get 1/4 of a yard of interfacing cut. And then the checkout line was even worse. They literally had one cashier and one fabric cutter for the entire store at peak business hours on a Saturday! Been to many Jo ann locations, this one really needs to get it together. Its more like a DMV then a Jo Ann.

Yes, selection is excellent, but be prepared to wait in line! At the fabric counter and especially at the Six Flags reminiscent checkout line. Ha ha, but seriously-the stores great organization is defeated by the extra time you wait to check out here. Found myself going across the street to Michaels (instead of JoAnns) to save TIME more often now.

Stopoed in at the North East Mall location in Hurst Tx....will be my last!!! Never saw such a mess. Safety issues. Looks like no recovery was done in weeks. Jo Ann Fabrics and I go way back so I know the strict standards. Not the case at this location. Guess the District Manager has not visited in a long time or just doesnt care.

Went in to get some fleece really quickly. The organization in this joanns is absolutely terrible. All of the fleece was spread throughout all the fabric and then we couldnt find what we were looking for. Just to ask a question, my sister had to wait in line at the cutting counter for 15 minutes.

All the employees were very polite, knowledgeable, & helpful. I found Bernat cotton yarn in a skein that had more yards of yarn than the one on a cone, which I had been using ;*)) It was a wonderful experience. I cant wait to go back, & really appreciate the Senior discount.
