Despite the name, great selection and unique Wine related events, I have a feeling WineStyles The Vintage is going to be best known, not for Wine, but as a premier live music venue. Located in the upscale Champions area, the exterior is nice but unassuming. Its not until you walk in that you realize what youve been missing. The owners went above and beyond during their recent expansion - doubling in size and adding a listening room that is perhaps the best in Houston. The artists that are brought in continue to say how amazed they are by the room acoustics and they all tip their hat to sound engineer Juan Carlos who does anything but set it and forget it as many venues do. He listens intently through every song giving each performer the chance to share their very best vocals with the audience. When reviewing WineStyles, you really do have to acknowledge the audience. There are no noisy neighbors at the next table talking loudly through the performance. The crowd is lively and responsive but respectful of each other and the performers who take the stage. For a relatively small venue, they bring in some stellar talent so you cant go wrong no matter when you go. Seating is limited though so youll want to call ahead to reserve. Go see, or rather listen, for yourself.

Met the new owner tonight. Snob! After encouraging him and offering a good karaoke DJ, he and his friend laughed at me about my beer suggestion. I have been drinking beer longer than he has been alive. Also, my wife and I have been patronizing this establishment since long before he arrived. Not a nice person. has an "Im better than you" attitude.

Rick and his staff are GREAT! Alway friendly and ready to educate and enlighten! There is no better place to gather with friends and meet new ones than WineStyles The Vintage. Warm and cozy, the wine tastings are a wonderful way to start what can turn into a great evening with friends.

This is a must for anyone who enjoys good wine, good customer service and good friends. My husband and I have been making this a weekly event since they opened the doors. Come on in and join our club, you wont be disappointed!

Very cool listening room environment. Definitely one of the best sounding live music venues in Houston. The retail wine selections are great and the by the glass and bottle selections always please your taste buds.
