My first time ever visiting a Total Wine was in San Antonio and I was so mad that we didnt have one in Houston.. until now! Finally! Total Wine is seriously the best place to go for all your alcohol needs. 100x BETTER than Specs. So many better deals than Specs. New Years Eve, I visited a Total Wine and they had my favorite Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label champagne on sale for $39/bottle VS Specs and Kroger which had it for $60/bottle. Thats a dramatic difference. The other thing I love about Total Wine is their interior design, so much more life given to the building than the dad and run down Specs. The decor is nice and you can tell the company took time to design their store model. Total Wine also has experts that know a lot about their wines, I was in this particular location yesterday and I could not find a specific wine for a friend. It wasnt a common brand and after showing the expert a picture of it she found it in less than 3 minutes. The locations are slowly popping up throughout Houston with some in Willowbrook and Galleria that I know of for now. Until they open one up in Cypress I may have to just commute over to this location. Definitely check it out, again, best bargains in town for the same brands at other liquor places.

I absolutely love this store! Its definitely one stop shopping for all your alcoholic beverages & setups. The people are friendly and helpful, they offer tastings, as well as other enlightenment on the products they sell... stop in & see for yourself how much better this place is than any other liquor store in the area... if you do, Im sure youll save money & may even find something new to share with your friends and family.

Great variety, Great exhibition, Great prices, Great place! I would like to give 4.8 stars since the only room to improve is having more cold drinks and beverages. Many cocktails need some juices, sodas or other which would be awesome having them in the same store. Even looking for energy drinks is a challenging task in this place.

This is the Greatest Store! They have every kind of beer that you could ever want and more. The people there are very friendly if they can help you they will they know where everything is. The cashiers are also very friendly they treat you like family. The prices are great too I just love this place!

Look out specs theres a new player in town. The prices are in my opinion more reasonable. Plenty of parking. Staff offers a great deal of knowledge about their products. The staff was helpful in making suggestions about various alcoholic beverages. I fully recommend giving the store a visit.

Never thought I would find a place that beats Specs. Very large selection of wine and beer. Kegs available in certain beers. Large humidor with a variety of cigars. Staff are very helpful and offer classes throughout the year for wine, beer, and liquor tasting.
