Im a runner. Because Im a runner, I tend to be very in tune with how my feet feel as it will usually be what determines how far I run that day. I recently changed jobs and switched from a desk job to one that I am constantly on my feet all day. About the 2nd week in, I started to notice I was having pretty severe heel pain. It was more than just soreness from my daily run, but actual pain so bad that I couldnt sleep at night. I went to see a pediatrist and they sent me to this place. As soon as I mentioned to these guys what my problem was, its like they sprang into action mode. They knew exactly what to put in my shoe to try and relieve the pain and actually spent the time to watch and see how I walked, stood, and even did a ink stamp thing to see where all the pressure in my feet was. After fitting my shoes with some arch support inserts, that had some little bump thing in the middle, they explained to me exactly why I might have been having these problems. Now, Ive been to shoe stores specifically for runners, and all they did was stare at my feet as I ran for a few seconds and shoved a pair of shoes in my hands and sent me on my way. No explanation, no size check - nothing. The people at this place know what they are talking about and it seems like they are actually more concerned with relieving the pain and helping the problem than making the sale. I will definitely be recommending this place to my running buddies.

The certified pedorthist named Edie is a really nice person. However, she has hired a bald white unfriendly guy named Chris Moore in her shop that is very rude. My retired mom has been getting shoes adjusted at the store since 2012. We dropped off some shoes to be adjusted recently and was called to let us know they were ready. To our surprise the price for the adjustments went up without any notification. The employee, Gaby was very nice and trying to contact the owner for us. However the other disgruntled employee named Chris was very obnoxious and showed no concern for the stores mistake of not informing us of the changes. I will never bring my mom shoes to this store again!

I have specific heavy-duty needs because I am an alpine-style mountain climber. Expeditions can be 2-3 weeks, at fairly high altitude, cold conditions carrying heavy weights for many hours. I have metatarsalgia in my right foot. This creates quite a problem for climbing and especially training. I started working with Edie before my last climb to Aconcagua. She was attentive and worked with me on custom orthotics multiple times to get the best possible results. I use these for mountain boots and running shoes. I made the summit with minimal foot problems—I’d definitely recommend this store.

I took my hiking boot here because the sole was coming loose. The shoes also have a small hole on the side (not all the way through) that I asked if they might be able to put some glue on to keep it from getting any worse. I was shocked when I picked my shoe up and there was a tear all the way through on a spot that had no problems when I brought the shoe in. I am not sure what happened but it looks like maybe they tried stitching an area and that is what made the hole. Needless to say, I will never go back.

Service is great when you are spending your money Then if you realize you have the wrong item and ask for a refund.....then service becomes horrible Not just horrible but you get the run around - the manager is out her family is ill type excuses When the manager finally gets to you then the real hassle begins The comments made become incredibly insulting from the staff and the manager has no problem with it I would not recommend them If you are new to needing their kind of service

I bought a pair of shoes from Don who told me if I didnt like them, I had a week to return them. Exactly a week later I brought them back after wearing the shoes twice inside only. He told me I couldnt return them because it had been too long, and then said they had been worn too much. Only after I started to get huffy did he eventually return them. Dont trust their word, get it in writing.

Agree completely with the majority of negative reviews. I have given them more than my fair share of opportunties. I took some high end mens prada shoes to them. None of the work has ever even approached satsifactory. Customer service was totally absent.

Edie took 1 1/2 hours to patiently hear my concerns and address my needs. She was very thorough and caring. I drive 35 miles to see her and shop there. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I will be a customer for life!!

Mr Don is awesome, when my shoes need to be fixed he does a great job repairing them. Communication is key when you want a service completed to your expectations. Z Coil shoes are the best shoes for any activity.

NEVER take anything to be cleaned or repaired. They ruined my very expensive shoe and then accused me of bringing it in in that condition. Horrible service. I will never go there again.
