These people are listing themselves twice (my guess is for "reputation management"). One of the reviewers here list himself as living in Washington state yet reviews for Houston Comcast and this florist. Since they are listing twice I am assisting them by reviewing both. Truly Horrible. Do not use this place if you are in need of prom corsage, wedding, funeral or any flowers that you have to order and the day you need them you are forced to take what they give you. Owner or Manager is nasty and doesnt care. Went to pick up a wrist corsage for sons prom the next day (Friday for Saturday prom and they are closed on Saturday). His mom had ordered and it was $45. I go in at 10:35a.m. according to their sales receipt and lady gives it to me and I pay. I get in car and drive to my office at I-10 and Bingle (approximately 12 to 15 blocks away). As I get out of car into the light I notice there are brown spots on all the flower petals. (white roses). I go directly back. When I walk in no one says a word and I walk over to where they are working and state there are brown spots on all the roses. The same lady who took my money 15 minutes before, takes the plastic container from my hand as says "You didnt refrigerate them!" Obviously, so that she can blame me for her product. I respond that I just left there and came back and had AC on in the car. She says "well its warm." (It wasnt cool when I purchased them.) She starts tearing petals off the flowers and calling the outer petals something I dont remember saying "These outer petals sometimes get bruised when they are putting them on the corsage." (I am assuming that means I should accept them and not bother her since I am not a florist.) She rips 8 or ten of the outer petals off, sticks it back in the container and hands it to me without a word! She then turns and goes to the back. Many of their fluorescent lights are out and as I step to the front door in the sunlight there is one rose that the entire top portion of all the petals is brown. I turn back around and tell the other lady about it. She goes to the back door and says, "He says they are still brown." I am not kidding at all! The lady comes out truly angry now and acts like it takes a magnifying glass to see the brown holding the package an inch from her nose. (I wear bifocals and I can see them without my glasses). I state that I can see it after eye surgeries and with bifocals and she then goes and gets a couple of white rosebuds takes the one off and puts another and hands it to me and says, "There." This place is a joke and customer service is "Heres your damned flowers give me the money and leave!" They also have two google listings in Local - one is memorial city flowers and it says formerly memorial city florists. The other is memorial city florist and has its own website, etc. They are the same company. I will report that to Google as it is a violation of their terms of service. I urge you to go to any other florist. There are two reviews on the site now which one is similar to this and the other is a glowing review that was written after the other and has no name. Trust the two one star reviews.
