I ordered an arrangement to be delivered to my wife for our anniversary. We used Always Floral for our wedding and I have had them deliver flowers to my wife a couple times now with zero problems, except this time. The arrangement per my wife was beautiful, but when she brought them back to her desk and she set them down water started to pour out of the bottom of the vase. She calls to thank me for the flowers and also informs me of the incident that occurred. I called Always Floral to inform them of what had happened and expecting them to take care of it with no problems, I was wrong. They were surprised and told me that the specific vase was very thick (5" according to them) and that they would not be able to get her another vase until the next day since they were out of stock of the one she received. I said thats fine she had a coworker who had an extra vase but its small. The phone call ends, I go to text my wife about what is going on and I receive a phone call back from Always Floral. This time they say my wife must have set them down on something or a coworker had knocked them over and wasnt telling her. This irritated me the fact that instead of them saying "Im sorry to hear this. We will get her a replacement and fix this" and leave it at that, they decide to tell me it was my wifes/wifes coworkers fault. They did however bring my wife a new vase within the next 30 minutes but when my wife showed the man the broken vase he, per my wife, stated that they had carefully handled the vase and it was not leaking when they gave her the arrangement, again insinuating it had not been their fault and must have been my wife/wifes coworkers. I am not pleased with the fact that, on a day of celebration for my wife and I, for what should have been a simple delivery turned into such a pain. Therefor I will not plan on using Always Floral again. UPDATE: (from 2 star to 1 star) I cant believe Im having to post another review to inform potential customers of Always Floral but this is getting out of control. I posted a review yesterday about my experience with Always Floral regarding a broken vase. One of my wifes coworkers also posted a review about his experience since he was present when the flowers were delivered. Upon both of these reviews being read by Always Floral I received two phone calls back to back, which I was not able to answer due to work, and was left an angry voicemail about my wifes coworkers review. Ridiculous! I call back and inform her this is unacceptable behavior and this will not bring my business back. I also inform her that this coworker who wrote that review, that is THEIR opinion of the situation and they do not have to remove it if they do not want to. I am informed this morning that Always Floral has been calling my wifes company to speak to managers pushing to have them do something about this employees review. To sum everything up, if you want to use Always Floral beware that if something goes wrong and you post a negative review, you will hear back from Always Floral and they will more than likely call you a liar as you will see from 2 of their previous 1 star reviews.

It takes a lot for me to poorly rate someone, but POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE calls for it. I called on the Thursday before Mothers Day, expecting to have some wait time due to the occasion, however I was put on hold and waited for more than 10 minutes before hanging up. Thinking Id give them a break, I called again on Friday morning at 8:30AM to place an order for delivery Saturday. I did not get the ladys name that answered, but I was immediately put on hold, then retrieved again, asked what date I needed delivery by, then put on hold again, only to be retrieved and asked yet again what delivery date I needed. After confirming, again, for Saturday, I was asked if I was flexible, as they were likely to have deliveries all the way into late evening Friday and Saturday. Understanding what comes with occasions such as this, I said of course I was flexible for delivery Friday or Saturday. Since they could not give me a specific time frame, I asked that, if I gave the cell number for whom the delivery was for, would the recipient be called if no one was home upon delivery. I was told that they would "try" but if no answer, which typically was the case, they would just leave the flowers on the porch. Again, trying to be understanding, I said this was not an issue. NOW FOR THE ISSUE - The flowers are for my boss, the president of the company. Needless to say, we were willing to spend a significant amount to get the best for his mom. So, when I asked if I could receive a photo of the finished project, I was told "IMPOSSIBLE! That is just completely impossible, we are too busy, Macey, to do that. Im sure therer are other shops that will do that for you but we just are too busy. Would you like for me to back out and cancel?" I understood everything up until this point. I was understanding of the fact I had to alter my original delivery schedule, I was understanding of the factors that came with delivery to a home, but I do not understand how they can immediately deny such a simple request, literally just a picture and a text that adds an additional 2 minutes to your day, without even a consideration. I would have even been wiling to pay an additional amount for that service, but we didnt even get to that due to the moment I asked, the woman I was talking to seemed to almost immediately shut down and kept interrupting me saying how busy they are. She went on to explain that she did not want her customers to second guess their work, which I in turn explained that that was not the case, it was simply my first flower order with them AND for my boss in general, so I wanted to make sure to make him proud and get what he was asking and paying for. Im sorry, but customer service goes a long way to me and they were not willing or empathetic at all. I understand occasions can make things busier, but that IS what you sign up for and should be prepared for and you should not shut down a customer so nonchalantly as if their order does not matter or effect them at all. I will not now, or in the future, ever use this shop, but good luck to the rest of you that do.

I live out of state, so for my sisters upcoming birthday I researched florists in her area. After reading many reviews, I decided on "Always Floral." I called to personally place my order so that she would get a beautiful arrangement of flowers for her milestone birthday. I specifically requested a spring bouquet with pink roses, white accent flowers, and assorted tulips, which I was told would be no problem. Oh, and I requested NO lilies!!! What was delivered to my sister was an arrangement with ORANGE roses, YELLOW LILIES, and an assortment of other flowers which made for quite an unattractive arrangement. But most important was that it was not at all what I ordered! So after seeing a picture of what I sent (and my sister was too polite to call them hideous), I called Always Floral to let them know that what was delivered was not even close to what I had ordered. This was on a FRIDAY night by the way. So, the owner did a little research and realized that the wrong arrangement was delivered to my sister. But this is not the worst part... The owner contacted my sister and kept her on the phone for half an hour as she was getting ready to go out on her birthday, drove to her house, and picked up the flowers, telling her that she would bring her another arrangement sometime MONDAY as they had none of the flowers I requested in stock. I am not familiar with this industry, but couldnt the florist have contacted another flower shop, picked up some suitable flowers, and swapped out the arrangement?! Instead, after picking up my sisters flowers from her house (and leaving no replacement), the owner called me multiple times to fill me in on the many many details (very chatty). After listening to her drone on about how this happened (older delivery driver-got lost, etc-may have switched cards en route, blah blah blah), she offered me a refund, which I gladly accepted. She also recommended another florist in my sisters area, which I ordered from Saturday morning, and the flowers were delivered Saturday morning--imagine that--customer service!!) To summarize, do not use this florist as they do not deliver what they promise. And if they deliver something else by mistake, they will come and take your flowers away and leave you with nothing (for several days!). Poor business model to say the least.
