What sort of games is this cafe playing?! Texas Pecan coffee that temps me to start drinking my coffee black?! A quiche thats so filling and hearty that I dont feel my masculinity threatened in the least for ordering a quiche?! An owner operator that is pleasant to talk to?! Since when did I want quality with my morning cup of coffee? Since when did I want coffee so tasty that I didnt have to fill the cup halfway with cream and sugar in order to choke it down? Thanks... and now that Ive had a sampling of what a quality start-to-the-day looks like, Im not so sure I can go back to the mediocre way of doing things. I may be so shaken that my morning routine will have to change.... Management will hear about this. All joking aside, thank you, Linda. Continue the good fight of never forsaking quality for quantity. You have my support.

Maddie and Linda (owners) are the best barristas in northwest Houston. The coffee is always smooth, wonderful, and delicious. The atmosphere is warm, inviting and friendly, with none of the pompous intimidation you find at the big chain coffee houses. Its like walking into a good friends living room for a relaxed, comfortable visit. The food is always fresh and delicious, whether its a breakfast kolache, or an omlette at the Saturday morning omlette bar. If youre looking for a respite from the usual impersonal service you find at someplace like a Starbucks, this is it. You can depend on the quality and fine flavor of the coffee/food, and, the great service in a cozy, personal setting. I love this place. :)

Linda and Maddie have created an awesome little local coffee house stamped with their own unique personality. The fact that the sound system may occasionally play the Sex Pistols only adds to the character of the place. The service is way friendly, the coffee is splendid, the bagels rock, and I had a slice of ham/cheese quiche just today that was to DIE for... and in case thats not enough, the last Saturday of the month they serve kicka$$ omelets..... Bring your own cup and a coffee is only a buck (I started that)..... and really, who doesnt have their own cup....?????? In case you are wondering, I approved this message......

My dad and I have started going there on a semi regular basis and we like it. We talk a lot there with the staff and they are friendly. The pumpkin chocolate muffins are delicious, and so are the frappes. Sometimes people bring their dogs by and its nice that theyre allowed to do that. If I could Id come here every single morning, but alas, life gets in the way. I recommend this place to people who are looking for a quiet peaceful place to sit and think or chat a little. They also have a neat assortment of books to read.

My girlfriend and visited this shop recently and we enjoyed it. They have a wide variety of caffeinated/decaffeinated drinks they can make and it has a relaxing atmosphere. I met one of the owners daughter at the counter and she was very nice to us. There is a large patio gazebo out the front door, perfect for the cool autumn/winter months. I highly recommend visiting this shop, especially if youre looking for a change of pace.

I orders the red eye (coffee) and a quiche. I was initially a little surprised by the quiche price but it may have been the best Ive ever had. It was a southwest and had bacon, lots of cheddar cheese, jalapeños and some other seasonings and even though she heated it up in the microwave, it was moist and not overdone. The lady said she sells the whole too, that seems like a good idea for a home Sunday brunch.

The place is smaller than I expected, but gave the environment more of the feeling I was having coffee at a friends house than a business... in a great way. The owner was lovely and accommodating, a human gifting her service and not a money-mongering and faceless creature. Come in! It will be your new favorite place, too.

Great local spot! Nice and cozy with good Wi-Fi. Good place to just go and hangout for awhile. Coffee is great, just as tasty as any other popular coffee joint. Its nice because its such a hidden and fairly unknown spot, although it would be nice to see this place get good business because i would hate to lose it.

You have not tasted good food until youve been to Crescent Moon! The cuisine is always tasty and not at all "garden variety," although it all tastes as if it were fresh from the garden (and it is!). Its a little corner of the world that your tummy will love!

The staff was kind. The place is very small but holds about 20 people. The iced caramel latte I had was mediocre at best and cost me almost $5. There is also a minimum $5 debit/credit charge. I guess Im not as impressed as other reviewers.

Lovely atmosphere, indoor and shaded outdoor seating. Seating inside consists of both tables and couches. Very small so may be difficult to find a seat when its busy but worth checking out. The coffee and muffins are delicious!

Game Changer. The ice coffee Im currently sipping on far surpasses anything iced coffees at Starbucks. Cold pressed with Expresso, not coffee. Smooth with rich deep flavor. The owners treat you like family. Love it! Live it!

Intimate private owned coffee shop, great coffee, & quick, easy, & tasty. Service is friendly & small only 3 tables inside plus lounge area, but still more quiet and oeesonable to meet than the chains cafes.

I love this place. The coffee is great and the Saturday food bars are super tasty. Going inside makes you forget about the suburbs and strip malls all around. Plus, they play good music.

Friendly staff, good coffee, and the southwest quiche is great. Really nice patio in back that is away from traffic noise on Jones Rd. Nice alternative to Starbucks.
