Worked here for a while and dealt with managers coming into work on Xanax and several other controlled substances. Even had an evening where a manager who was not meant to work that night came in the back door, went straight to the register and took out money for "gas". I then witnessed him hand the money to a presumed drug dealer AT THE BACK DOOR OF THE STORE. When the closing manager and I called the Store Manager at the time (who also wasnt working that evening either) to file a report on what happened; why theres money missing and who took it; we where the ones who got in trouble and where told "not to mention a single word of the event to anybody, including our district manager.." That drug addict manager I dealt with has since been PROMOTED. So you see, things are backwards at Zumiez. If you have any actual responsibilities beyond supporting your daily coffee habit, I wouldnt recommend working here, as you will probably make less than $1000 a month, even if you are the "employee of the period". Also if you saw what sort of status your "high-end-clothes" come in (from China) youd probably think twice about spending $45 on a t-shirt. I will NEVER in my life walk into another Zumiez again. I have been skateboarding since 1998 and I cannot believe I stooped so low as to actual work at this Chinese (garbage) distributer or even consider it an actual source for what skateboarding is all about. This is nothing more than a slave shop. Every employee you see there is being raped by a giant corporation for an "end of the year pizza party".... congratulations, youre all retarded.

Great store, they always have what I want in stock, the staff is super friendly, and the check out girl with blue hair is really cute so Ill definitely come back

Great selection of clothes and gear if you are looking for that style (skatewear.) The service is typically lacking though, dont expect help from anyone.
