When i went to this place i was expecting something completely different then what I got. I had been researching many tattoos establishments in the area because I was going to come down for two tattoos for my birthday. You would think the tattoo artist would know how to do line work and basic shading especially is they are charging you $100 dollars for one tattoo which is actually overpriced compared to other places since its not that big of a tattoo. Long story short i got two cat tattoos one small one in my wrist which was $20 which is fine i mean i would have paid more if it meant they would have done a better job. Now the thing with small tattoos it is easily noticeable when the lines are wonky or passed over more then once. It was a easy tattoo to do so its amazing how managed to mess it up. As for the other one the shading is weird as well as patchy, the cat is not completely shaded after it healed you can see that he didnt even manage to outline correctly or shade it in all the way. Not to mention the moon outline is shaky and ticker in different places while thinner in others. So dont go here if they cant do a basic tattoo do you really think they can achieve a complex tattoo that requires precision and detail.

Went up to this location back in August of this year and I have to say, what a ride since then. After I got a cover-up on my right arm I could not put my arm down for a week and a half! I also LOST MY JOB because of the healing time! It has now scarred and looks aweful! I am an Esthetician and I have to see clients on a daily basis and my arm looks terrible. I also want to mention that there was a $500 refund I was supposed to get and I havent seen a dime of it! While I was there, and happier with my results of the tattoo within that moment, I scheduled ANOTHER cover-up session and put $100 as a down payment. I have been promised time and time again a refund and now when I try to get in touch with the guy, he has ignored me (which was within the last month). This has been the most unprofessional experience I have had with a tattoo artist since I started getting tattoos. At least I know now not to go out of my home town to get a tattoo. I now have to wait until it heals a bit more to get it done by my family tattoo artist in Bay City. Thanks for nothing!

Ive gotten two piercings done, an orbital and a nose piercing. The orbital was done a year ago by the male piercer, I believe his name was Joe? Anywho, he did a great job and was gentle, the piercing did take a year to heal but that is due to the area of the piercing and the thickness, so completely understandable. In Sept of 2014, I got my nose pierced by the woman piercer, and Ive had many troubles with my piercing. First, the size was 16 gauge which is HUGE for a nose piercing, next after changing it, I realized that she pierced my nose at a complete angle which is extremely inconvivent when it comes to changing the jewelry and makes it an excruciating experience. Therefore, I would never ever recommend the female piercer! It costs only $25 per piercing which is extremely cheap for the island but not worth the quality, therefore Id pay tons more to have a correct piercing.

I first called them on the phone to see if I needed an appointment and I spoke to Joe, the owner he was very kind and professional, unlike most people that work at a tattle shop. When I went in and showed them what I wanted all of the artists were eager to help me. They were all so nice and helpful. My tattoo turned out great. The shop was.clean and tidy which is always a plus. Also to make things even better, my wife and I had a terrible sunburn, and Joe gave me a whole bottle of medication for our burn. Very kind. I would definitely recommend, and if Im ever in the area and in need of some work, this is where I will go.

Tattoo artist could not draw, and had to trace the design I wanted. I should have walked out then, but it was a simple tattoo so I thought it would be fine. Now after it has healed you can tell that the lines are not clean and color wasnt completly filled in. It has those marks where the ink drifted out of the area where it should have been. I followed all aftercare so I know it wasnt my fault. Im getting it fixed by someone that knows what they are doing. The shop was clean, it just needs employees with talent. I dont remember who did mine but it was a woman. (maybe the other artists there are better?)

Renee is the girl to go to. We loved her work and ideas from the beginning. My fiance just got an amazing cover up and I cant even describe the beauty of her work. Amazing women and awesome to talk to. You can tell tattooing is her passion, and Im not just saying that. She was extremely patient with him and listened. To me that is the most important because it is easy for an artist to only do what they want and thats it. We love Renee and we will only go to her from now on. Thank you Renee, see you soon for more of your amazing work.

Walked in to get something small to remember our trip. Although I walked away with something cute and pretty (line work was perfect by Jason) my boyfriend left with an amazing, very detailed ship! Prices were on point (actually should probably charge a little more) The artistry and talent of John (who did my boyfriends ship) are AMAZING! Plus everyone in the shop had that good ole Texas charm and were very very nice to work with! Weve already made a pact that each trip back well be stopping back in!!! Thanks again guys!!!

Whatever you do do not go in here unless you want to be treated like an idiot. We went to get tattoos yesterday and the girl who we were going to use first off just plain didnt want to do them. After she griped about drawing up a design and did it, she got mad at me for not liking the drawing that I think she did with her eyes closed. If you want great work in a great atmosphere go to body language. Great view, great location, great guys, and AMAZING work!!!! Sorry aasylum but you guys SUCK!!!

I was visiting friends on the island back in Aug. Just walked in off the street with an idea for a cover up. I have an almost complete sleeve, full chest piece, and wanted to start my half sleeve. I spoke to Mel. Ladies and Gents she is amazing!! She took her time to make sure that it looked great!! The shop is very clean and once your in the chair it is a fun environment. Next time I go to the island I will be stopping back in to take advantage of the $400 all you can sit.

My hubby and i went in lastnight to get names added to one of his old tats. i wanted to get one on my ankle but they were all books. but lucky enough the owner came in just to check out everything and he did my first tat! every one was professional, happy, and love joking around. great atmosphere, great sovereign. totally recommend! thanks yall
