Ive visited this location several times and Im more impressed each time! My tattoos have all been done by Artist Justin and hes the BEST! His lettering is so on point, and hes a barrel of laughs every time. Its really awesome going into a shop and not feeling awkward or like your ideas are lame/stupid. This most recent visit was really special to me. I lost my brother 2 years ago and I found an old card that he wrote his name in. It wasnt the cleanest or easiest thing to do, but Justin executed tattooing his signature beautifully. Now I have my brother with me literally always. Justin didnt even blink when I asked him if he could do it, he accepted immediately. Seriously, this place is GREAT! I havent personally been tattooed by the other artists, but Ive seen their work and Ive been in while theyre working. Not a single negative thing to say about anything/one! Ill definitely be back in the future.

Absolutely love Surreal Tattoo.! Very clean, professional, up front, & honest! Wouldnt go anywhere else!! Most of all, he kept me calm on my bigger tattoo on my chest. Calm & laughing! When all I wanted to do was freak out! Im very picky on who I will consider even touching me with needles. But with Justin Brown, I have no worries. He opens everything in front of me, sterlizes everything. I will forever go back to see Justin for tattoos & piercings.! Highly recommended!

My tattoo turned out exactly like I envisioned it, and I had the best time talking to Devan while she worked her magic. The shop is clean and comfortable and the staff is professional and make you feel like theres no place else in KC youd want to go. I couldnt recommend it more highly!
