I have recieved a tattoo from True Love in the past, approximately 2 years ago. Excellent work good service. However, that is not what is happening now. I met with an artist approximately 2 months ago, who agreed to do a new piece on my leg.(The previous artist who had done work for me in the past was no longer at the shop and I did not know how to reach him.) I waited approximately 3 weeks while he was supposedly drawing it up. I recieve a call from a second artist who informs me that the first artist is to busy and he would be doing the work. I agreed to meet and see his work to determine if I would allow him to do my new tattoo. I met, saw his portfollio, and agreed to give him a draw fee of $100 dollars. After 3 weeks and no contact I called the studio and spoke with a 3rd artist who apologized and stated he woulld make it right and do the tattoo at a discount. 2 more weeks go by and I find this artist, although well meaning, is still learning the art and can not do the type of tattoo I was requesting. Basically, I am out 2 months of time and $100. I cannot recommend this place and will never go back. Not sure what has changed but I should have known better when I found out all the artists at the studio had moved to other places.

Ohhhhhkay... I got my first ever piercing here. It was done by Jim the piercer. It was a Prince Albert. I cannot say enough good things about this place, but I will try to cover the bases. 1. He was as professional as they come. Im not exactly shy but I had no second thoughts about being exposed there. It was a relaxed, artistic, clean, high-quality shop. 2. The piercing itself could not have gone better. His hand was as steady as a stone. Slow and fast where necessary. I cant thank him and the shop enough for making this experience as (relatively) painless as possible. The position of the needle was perfect. Perfect. Look up the definition. The piercing was perfect. 3. The information regarding aftercare was thorough, precise, and easy to follow. 4. The price was right. Ted Cruz level of right. . They have my vote. I cant comment on their artists but if they follow the same pattern of professionalism and excellence as the piercer and the shop itself, they should be first on your list of places to scout.

I called a day in advance and they said come on in for the next day so I did. Walked in the next day and the tattoo artist that was there said if your getting a big tat I dont have time make an appointment. He was so rude that Ill never go back and Ill tell all my friends not to go. I go in tattoo shops all over the country and get tattoos. You can bet I have a lot of friends that get tats and they will not go here. The tattoo expo is next weekend and Ill tell everyone not to go to this place.

I read these reviews and actually was hoping the described jerk named Brandon would have to wait on me. Im no pushover and I am really good at putting people in their place. A Brandon did end up doing my tattoo, but I cant imagine hes the person described. My tattoo is spelt correctly and I certainly wouldnt classify him as an idiot or rude. He was quite the opposite, I appreciated the great conversation and barely even noticed I was getting tattooed.

I tried to go there to get piercings done, when I was asking about the pricings and what I wanted the desk person proceeded to be EXTREMELY rude about it and made me feel very self conscious about what I wanted. I had cash in hand ready for the piercings but walked right out. If they want to keep business they definitely need to check that girls attitude or consider getting someone else. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

My sister and i got matching tattoos on our wrists...my 5yr old couldve done better! Very unhappy with it! It was a simple lined and no color tat with some words...I guess you get what you paid for...the customer service was not very pleasant as well we were next waiting for an artist and instead he started on another person while we sat there waiting....will not go back

The experience was very professional the entire way through I wanted a specific tattoo done by Juan Garcia to cover up a bad one from when I was younger he advised me that the one I wanted wouldnt cover very well and offered to free hand a authentic tattoo for me. I was very pleased with the result and will be coming here for my next tattoo as well

Doesnt even deserve this star. Treats customers like crap. Ask him a simple question and he goes off on you. Brandon is the worst person you can ever get a tattoo. Go to classic rose! Way better ownership.
