This is a very small store. This company overall has been overpricing objects that you find at a much lower price. If youre thinking about working here..dont! Surprisingly enough it is all politics here and every "leader" you meet here has an agenda and its never a good one. They act nice to your face and then start being a psycho and making work nearly impossible to get rid of you. There is no reason behind this except that these people have nothing better to do and are on a power trip. I have dealt with the supposed "HR" after letting them know that I was harassed and they thanked me for venting with them and did nothing but take the harassers side. I have personally seen people who dedicated 10 and 20 years to this company only to be fired here without a warning write up by some old wench that has the biggest stick up her ass and is the closest thing to Satan himself. She was on a rampage firing people of all ranks (under hers of course) And guess that the company did? They simply moved her elsewhere and demoted her..handwork is not appreciated here, you must be a yes-man. If youre not you will be in for a rude awakening when one day your TL is purposly trying to make up some reason to get rid of you. Also, dont get it twisted There are still psychotic trolls here. One of which claims to be a women but is very much a man, easy to spot. There is good reason this troll moved from a different state to get a "leader" position here. This troll is excessively tall and has a dark wig with some white steaks to throw you off. Trolls can be very confusing, dont let this one fool you. It will pretend its important and high and mighty when in reality it was on final for dating other trolls when it was an associate team leader. Another troll to avoid is an older one who has w high pitched voice resembling a female. It is extremely nice and even grandmotherly, she could do no harm! But also beware looks are deceiving. This troll also has a demonic second side that if you cross she will literally strip you of your nametag and apron on the spot and tell everyone that you quit without a notice. Please dont support this company, it is becoming corporate at the speed of a bullet. Also, dont support trolls in their environment. Remember, life is more important than a trolls.

Though my husband and I have been frequenting this location and shopping Whole Foods locations throughout the US for years, quality has certainly fluctuated and has decreased dramatically primarily over the past half-decade. That being said though, if we want to know that we can find (even only somewhat) fresh organic produce in the Fairview/Allen/McKinney area but arent terribly particular regarding which type(s) then we can still depend on of WF to deliver at least a few options whereas other grocers often fall short and/or completely fail. Just the same, we always anticipate paying more for those (and essentially all other) products than we would elsewhere. The exception to the rule, however, can be when shopping sale items and/or 365 (WF house brand). Most of the employees at this location have been very helpful and extremely friendly over the years but there are some consistently caustic characters that have somehow managed to hang around and drag customer and company morale around in the dirt with them. On a high note, checkout is typically relatively expedient--especially if you visit on a weekday during banking hours--but can easily take almost thirty minutes if you visit while theyre busy/short-staffed. On a final note though, do your homework before you spend money on any kind of processed food and/or any health/beauty item here (and everywhere else for that matter) as its likely markedly less clean than you want to imagine...and youre quite likely paying more exclusively for an ego-boost than to be "environmentally friendly" or to perform any other assigned altruistic/healthful act. So, in short, if you know what to buy here then you can very easily justify the occasional visit. Its simply not my go-to grocery store but is in my top five favorites in the area.

Food is often rancid AND contains GMOs. Well, the prepared foods this grocer sells, anyway. If I could recount the number of times I have thrown away food purchased at this store because it’s rancid, it’d be really upsetting - to know how exactly much money I have wasted shopping at this store. Once again, the “all natural tortilla chips” with no GMOs and no preservatives, good-thru date of August 2017 purchased in June 2017 are RANCID. The smell of the rancid corn and oil hit me when opening the bag - disgusting - and EVERY TIME I tell myself and my wife we won’t shop at this grocery store again, yet, for the sake of artificially perceived convenience with no other grocer as close by, I find myself throwing away a portion of my hard-earned salary by shopping here. And it’s not just the chips. It’s ground beef, deli meat, bread - we’ve had bad experiences with just about everything. The 365 brand fake organic from China, other fake organic brands they sell in health and beauty. Pshhhh this is nonsense. Now, Whole Foods proudly sells General Mills Cheerios, all of which are prominently marked “partially made with genetic engineering.” When I asked a store clerk about this, he replied matter-of-factly, “Most of what we sell is GMO. There’s a lot of it in this store; you can’t get stuff without GMO.”

Whole Foods quality has seriously gone downhill over the past 6 months or so, the Fairview location in particular. This used to be a place I could trust to provide high-quality food and exceptional customer service, however recently Ive noticed that the items that my wife and I purchase on a regular basis are not stocked adequately if at all (we have serious allergies), cross-contamination at the food bar has become a consistent issue (ask me for pictures), and the overall stock of the store has been degraded to the "organic," "non-gmo" versions of the same terrible foods that you would find at Walmart or Albertsons

Excellent layout, quality employees. They are tight with staffing, however, when they shouldnt be. Ive been there on a few busy saturdays and stood in line at one of three open registers for a good 20 minutes. If Im paying this much, you can afford to staff better during busy hours. Another thing: Those new bags are a disaster! EVERY time I try to carry from my car to the house at least one of the bags will rip open dramatically and spill all of the contents on the ground. I spend thousands of dollars in that store and you pack my goods in tissue paper. Get a grip cheapskates, TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS BETTER!

I will take my business elsewhere! ! I was just there looking a specific cold remedy. There were to worker stocking those isles neither one asked if i needed help, when I finally gave up looking for it I approached these two ladies to ask for help and they told they didnt carry the item ( which is fine ) and suggested a similar item on isle 9 they said and basically turned around and ignored me! When just seconds before these two same ladies were heping another customer and walking them down the isle suggesting different items! Rude!!! So disapointed! !!

Grabbed only a few items while on my way home (had an hour drive home). The cashier was nice, and we heard a loud sound and looked outside to see it coming a downpour. After jokingly saying I was going to stay in the store a few minutes for it to slow down. The cashier insisted finding an employee with an umbrella and found me an umbrella so he (the other employee) can walk me to my car without getting soaked so he could bring the umbrella back in. I thought that was a generous offer. Being dry the remaining part of the drive was wonderful.
