When I went to Sallys I purchased the Palladio Dual Wet/Dry foundation and the rice powder. While I was looking at the products I didnt know which color matched my skin. A guy came up to me, I wish I knew his name, and asked if I needed help. I told him I needed help picking out the right color foundation. With a snotty/sarcastic attitude he responded,"The color on the box is whats inside." Then he just walked off leaving me there to choose for myself. The color I wound up getting was too dark. The lights in the store obviously dont work well enough to be able to tell while youre there. The lights in my bathroom quickly revealed how dark the foundation actually was. I didnt like how either of the products went onto my skin. I used brand new pads for the foundation and dumped the rice powder onto a seperate surface to use with my brush that I already had at home so I wouldnt contaminate the makeup. I checked the return policy before attempting to take the products back to the store. Nowhere on the receipt or the website does it say makeup cannot be returned or exchanged. When I went to the store that same guy happened to be there and he didnt hesitate to tell me no. He also treated me like I was stupid and as if I was trying to lie about using the makeup when I clearly told him I tried the makeup. And he couldnt explain to me why it isnt stated anywhere that I cant return or exchange makeup products. If it doesnt say under your "Special Restrictions" MAKEUP PRODUCTS then I should be able to get my money back if Im not happy with the product. Not to mention, had someone actually given me their "professional" opinion on what color to get, I might have actually wanted to keep the makeup and just learned to work with it if it was close enough to my skin tone. I told the guy, before I left, that as long as he is working at that store I will no longer go there because I didnt like the attitude he gave me when I asked for his help the first time I went. He just nonchalantly said,"Ok." This is not the way to treat customers or keep them coming to your store. I want my money back. I am unhappy with this product. It does not say anywhere that I cant return makeup. And dont go to this store unless youre ok with gay guys on their period treating you like crap.
