This place is the worst. I wish I could rate it zero stars because thats what they deserve not just because of its grooming skills, but because of their horrible customer service. Apparently the employees and owner of this place have never heard the saying "the customer is always right." Anyway, I took my dog to get groomed (miniature schnauzer 15lbs). She is the sweetest dog ever, does not growl or bark at people. I usually describe her as a pushover because she does not hold her own. After picking her up from the groomers, I realized she was acting funny. She kept gagging and shaking. I left to run some errands and when I returned she would not look at me and would not let me pick her up--something that is unusual for my dog. It was then when I noticed her eyes were bloodshot. I quickly searched online and asked a couple of friends who have professionally groomed pets in the past. My research showed she had been choked during the grooming process. I was livid because I could not believe a "professional pet shop" could do such a thing and not let me know of the occurrence. I went the next day to complain and of course the owner wasnt there. I was told she would call me and she never did. Sadly, I had to initiate contact. THAT is not good customer service at all. Once I got in contact with the owner of the shop and explained the situation, she quickly said it was shampoo that caused her eyes to be bloodshot (keep in mind she has not seen the horrifying pictures of my pet.) She emphasized that they use tearless shampoo yet somehow this shampoo caused my dogs eyes to be bloodshot for 4 days along with endless tears. Please explain how tearless shampoo causes tears and BLOODSHOT, INFLAMED EYES? Makes no sense. After discussing the incident I asked for my money back because my pet had been mistreated. She quickly said she would not refund my money because I didnt take my pet to the vet. Obviously I shouldnt have to worry about taking my pet to the vet AFTER the groomers. And if I must do so, the cost should be covered by the groomers. My pet was perfectly fine before the groomers and after I picked her up she was not. Yet somehow this business is not at fault. Please do not take your pet here. My dog got lucky to be able to walk away alive. Also, who wants to deal with horrible customer service. Thanks for putting my dog through pain and trauma. We will NEVER go back to get our pets groomed or refer anyone to your business.

I USED to be a happy customer until they decided to BURN my baby with the clippers. His body was burned all over, including his private area. He couldnt use the restroom, play, run, even SLEEP. Had to take my dog to the vet; 3 times because he couldnt move, sleep and would whine and cry throughout the day and night. Finally, they decided they would pay our first invoice and when we took our second: after we even knew they were willing to pay the first one we took to them, they denied and said things happen. My Husky had to get antibiotics, steroids, and sleeping pills to help him sleep, and help him heal. The manager said, the owner said he was matted and that these things happens. I have pictures and want to post them so that you can see how horrible my Husky looked, and he was pink, when I saw him!!!! Had no hair when he was picked up. No fur baby should endure this mistreatment. Matted or not, they should have taken the time to make sure their clippers werent burning him!!!!! And on my doggies card, the groomers name was Gil. This place is deceptive, you walk in to the "Glamour", BUT behind closed doors; you have no idea whats going on. The one star would be for the shop, but not for the dog hospitality. $80 for the groomers bill, $130 for first Dr. visit, $20 walk in for some pain killers, $155 for the 3rd visit because his burns were getting irritated and he still couldnt even sleep or walk or urinate! He would literally close his eyes standing up because he didnt want to move. That was a huge bill to "Groom" my dog! DO NOT TRUST this place.

I just went a few days ago... I have taken my dog to glamour pooch three times now the first two times they were truly awesome! Then this time around I was a bit upset! I usually got charged 40 every time I take my dog in. Well dropping him off She wrote down on the card sheet 40. I forgot my dogs tooth brush so I told her and she said it was fine that they would still brush my dogs teeth. Then I over heard the girl talking about Christmas pictures she mentioned it would be 5 dollars more. So I told her if I could get a picture taken and she said yes she went back to my card sheet and wrote 5 on there then asked me to chose a bow for him for the picture. Then told me she would call me once he was ready. One they didnt call me. Two... when I picked him up we payed the additional 5 for the picture and she kept saying we didnt pay for it and didnt mention it! Then we left and they didnt brush his teeth he still had dog breath! I just hate to be lied to and to pay for a service that isnt being done. Sadly Ill be looking into getting my dog groomed somewhere else. I work retail. Dont lie and do your job. This all might be dumb... but my dog is my baby.

I love Glamour Pooch. We just moved to El Paso a couple months ago and our Golden Retriever needed to be groomed BAD!! I had no idea where to take him so I looked for reviews and couldnt believe some of the things I was reading about local shops. It ranged from someone being charged $260.00 for their small dog to be groomed to bad hair cuts. I was scared to say the least. : ) I found Glamour Pooch and will continue to go there. Its a bit far from my house since I live on the northeast side but totally worth it. The store is clean and smells clean..not like a dog grooming business. The women who work they are extremely nice. Like I said I have a golden retirever and they were QUICK. I dropped him off at 8:00 a.m. and by noon they were done. I think their pricing is average but can get expensive depending on what you need or want. Their bath for our dog was $25.00 which I think is average and then we had them "deshedd" him and that was another $25.00. He looks like a completely different dog. Definitely take your dogs to Glamour Pooch. They were great!!!!

If I could rate a ZERO I would!!! They strangled my dog so hard his eye blood vessels popped! They said the guy who groomed him was one of the best! His name is Andy. DO NOT LET HIM TOUCH YOUR DOG! Please think twice about taking your pup there! We took my yorkie boy to the vet and turns out we were right ! $80 on vet visit and medication !!! Their customer service is the worst. The manager right off the bat blamed the shampoo, shouldnt they cover their eyes and ears when their washing them?! She kept saying my pup went in like that and it got worse with the shampoo. They kept saying their owner would call us but she never did and they refuse to give me my money back !!! Horrible service and horrible groomers!!! Do not take your pets there and they show no sympathy !!! Their customer service is horrible ! Every time I call to speak to the manager or the owner, they are NEVER there!
