Z Gallerie is probably my favorite furniture store. I love their products. However, I have had the ill fortune of having to ship a bedroom suite, a buffet table, a mirror, and a coffee table to me. If all you need is something in stock that you can immediately get from their store (which does not include any furniture), then all is well. If you have to have it shipped to you (for $95), think TWICE. My bedroom suite had to be shipped twice. The first time I received it took over six weeks to arrive, and then when I received it it was badly damaged. After fighting with them on the phone, they finally agreed to ship a bed in good condition. That took another month. Also, my mirror has STILL not arrived, and I have been calling for over 3 weeks to get this issue taken care of. LORIE and STEPHEN at the Dallas store on Knox/McKinney have been awful to me. First they sent my item to Houston, contrary to my directions, and now they want to charge me $179 to get it here where it is supposed to be. They would not help me, and instead insulted me by calling me a liar (Stephen) and stupid (Lorie) in an indirect, snide way. Finally, instead of helping me resolve my problem, they gave me the customer service number to get rid of me. I called and of course they were no help either. The company they use to ship, called EDC, NEVER does anything right, and now I have to drive to Houston from Dallas and pick up my mirror between the hours of 9-12 and 1-4 M-F, once again having to compromise my schedule to meet theirs. All in all, Z Gallerie has a highly flawed business model, with decent designs. I will buy there again, but ONLY for small items I do not have to ship. Im sick of having to deal with these morons. I am buying my first house in six months, and now I will have to look elsewhere for furniture to furnish my entire house. Their loss. (But then again, they probably dont care about that either.)

The reviews on here are absolutely ridiculous! The staff in here is so helpful and sweet. There is diversity on their staff. I am so sick of everyone pulling the racial card all the time. I walked in there with a baseball cap, no makeup, flip flops, ripped jeans and no handbag. I realized that I probably wasnt going to get sales people jumping all over me for my homeless appearance. The sales staff spent hours with me. I told them what I was looking for and that I was going to have many questions and wanted to see several items....she jumped right in showing me options, pulling up additional options on their website and in their catalog. The manager was respectful of my time, setting up delivery orders concurrently to 2 of my locations while I was still shopping. I have been back 3 times within the last month and every staff member has remembered me and been so helpful and professional. They respected every decision when I politely told them if I found something more affordable online. If you go into a store with a bad attitude and treat people poorly, regardless of how you look.....you will get that in return. Their furniture is quality and looks amazing. You can always order online if you are going to let your race dictate where and how you shop. -Knox customer June 2016

Im reading through these low ratings, and it seems as though Lori/Lorie is no stranger to providing horrible customer service at Location 51. Z Gallerie, what does this say about you? I can understand one bad review about her, but several? Either shes deeply "vested" in the company or you clearly dont care about providing excellent customer service to the people who matter, your CUSTOMERS! We are what keep each location open by frequenting your store and providing you with our hard-earned dollar for the items you sell. Without us, there is no revenue, and no reason to keep you open. I suggest you fix the issue, which is Lori/Lorie, by removing her from being your employee, or be ready to face the potential consequences coming to this store and your company. We wont stand for this.

It is such a shame that this store and company not only discriminates against their costumers but they also go so far as to cover the discrimination up from social media by deleting posts to try and silence the voice of those wronged. This company has some beautiful furniture but I surely will not be spending a dime with this company until they can show equality for all people. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH ZGALLERIE!!!!

I shop this store regularly and the staff is first in class. They are extremely knowledgable on the product lines. They are creative and willing to help with gathering dimensions, printouts, etc. I have worked in retail for 20 years and appreciate their consistent effort. I have furnished several rooms of my home from this store and I have never been disappointed in the final results.

Will definitely skip this establishment. Reviews are just that...to see what others are saying. If blacks state that they have been racially profiled, I will not be visiting. Ill take my money to a more diverse establishment. Just because they allegedly tolerate one black person as I saw in a previous comment, dont be fooled because thats probably their PR person posting anyway.

I was in this area and considered checking this place out. Fortunately before I did, I did my research and was disturbed to learn this place had engaged in blatant racial profiling. Wow! Places still do this, huh? What a shame. Apparently, their current clientele is such that they dont need business from African Americans. No problem. Too many other options out there.

Ive worked in customer service/ retail management for years so Im very familiar with good customer service! I walked in this location with nothing but my cell phone and credit card and was followed the entire time! I will never ever go back to this location! The racial profiling was absolutely ridiculous! Where is the button for "zero stars" ??

My friend and I have always had a great experience. Putting one star and youve never shopped here is silly. If one persons experience makes you feel that way, dont shop here. A review is meant to explain YOURE experience. And yes, we are African American. Never had a problem. Also thanks to Derrick for his help.

What kind of store asks for proof of someones identity, verifies it through Id, after calling the number on the acct (and shes standing right there), asking for a utility bill (which was also produced), and then proceeds to CLOSE the account?? Then has the nerve to blame it on her feelings and not apologize??

Nice furnishings, a little cheap for the price, but overall a great place for glam furniture and accessories. Sometimes you can catch some good deals with their sales. Staff is usually very accessible and helpful.

Things here have a cheap feel,but waaay overpriced. Also Lori,an employee at store 51 was extremely rude and unknowledgable as were the managers. Will NEVER shop here again,absolutely livid after my experience!
