Where do I start, it’s nice to see how there are still confused racist people in this world. Every time I go to Wonderland Tropical, the employers are really helpful and friendly. They explain everything very well before taking a pet home, even when purchased from different places, which shows how much care for the animal’s well being. The pet store has their pets well KEPT, healthy, and fed. A person who knows ANYTHING about animals should realize that they don’t all smell the same. Nothing in this world is born smelling like flowers. When you go to a farm it smells like horse sweat and cows, any dog owner’s back yard smells like wet dog and poop, and the zoo which has many animals is a combination of different smells just like the store. Ignorant people don’t realize that it is natural, all animal lovers now that spraying strong smelling products can cause pets allergies. I appreciate the store for not trying to satisfy a customer’s nose over the health of their animals. I recommend this friendly pet store to all pet lovers.

So Im personally not a HUGE fan of the puppies in cages. I find that old school and honestly dangerous due to health issues for the animals. With that said Im giving this place 4 stars for their fish! We are always pleased with the quality we get. The younger guy is very knowledgeable but respected the fact that I said I knew a good amount about our tank and type of fish and didnt try and be pushy or rude. The owner is one cool dude and his German shepherd is the nicest dog ever! I dont support the dog sales but other than I enjoy the store. We make the trip from Richardson and we feel like you really get your moneys worth here!

Oh my god, I have never felt so sorry for a large group of animals before in my life. This place made me literally sick to my stomach seeing how every single pet in the store is being kept in awful conditions. I almost came home with a dog just to rescue the poor thing from these terrible owners, if it wouldnt have contributed to the store continuing its business I would have whipped out my wallet right there. People picket and boycott Petland and their products, how in the world are there not miles of people rioting over this place. Seriously, city of dallas or a humane society should investigate this store!

This place has been in business since I was a little boy. As the years have gone by I have purchased many pets from this store. My first pet here was a dog then a fish then a bird followed by a ball python, and a turtle, 2 iguanas a hamster, and a guinea pig. This has been in a span of 20 years. and each pet has lived a long healthy life. This is a family-owned business. The guy that has worked here all these years is really cool laid back and eager to help you find the right pet for you and your family. I highly recommend this place.

If your looking for a place to add a new member to your growing family this is the place to go. The owner is really great with the animals he takes care of and the worker are more than happy to answer any questions you might have about your new pet. Wether its a furry or scaly friend you are looking you will find it here. If your not willing to bring a pet home it is still a really cool great place to check out all the animals and you never know you might change your mind.

I stepped inside one day with my son (just to look) and the staff is extremely friendly! Its a bit of a mess inside.. but the animals are cared for! Cages kept clean (in fact, they were cleaning cages that day)! I have never conducted business with them, but I would based off my experience walking into the place. Chain franchise pet stores arent necessarily kept up any better (except for what customers can visually see upon entering..)

Where do I start, this place is a major MESS how does it stay open! Its sad to walk in and see the animals in the condition they are keep, I can see this happening in mexico or out in some third world country but not here in the states. Where is the city of Dallas when you need them. It looks, smells and feels bad in there. So if you are looking for a future pet pal PLEASE try a reputable pet Shop not here.

This store might be a bit dirty but I have to say that the pets are always happy, the employees are really nice and actually understand you. I got my turtles here and the guy working there got many turtle out so I can see which ones I wanted. Once I got the ones I wanted, he put the baby turtles back to the tank safely. I recommend this store!

The smell alone when we walked in said how this place is. I will never be back. My son and I could barely walk through it. We had to go! I didnt want to be rude and hold my nose but that was impossible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont know about their sales.. But anyplace that smells like that cant be good.

Nice personal experience; cool pets; and evident that they are taken care as best as their capabilities. However, it may not be a place for everybody specially for all those self important people that feel that their subjective view is a representation of reality.

One of my favorite place to go buy food for my parrots the employees there are awesome people. customer service is GREAT the animals seem very happy yes it pretty smelling but come-on who said animals smell like bath and body works perfume. People so get real!

Beware - this business just sold a puppy that had parvo to a family and the puppy died 2 weeks later. And they lied about the puppys vaccination records! I have a feeling the other dogs that are for sale as of 3-15-16 are infected!

They have the cutest conures ever!! They were selling a pair of sun birbs for $600, but unfortunately, they dont allow photos, unless youre (((sneaky))). Also, the place smells like animals. What do people expect? Its a pet shop!

Ive been going here for about 10yrs nw, i hv never had a problem. They have clean, up kept animals that they as a family take care of. If u hv questions about your animal just ask they will be as helpful as possible.

This location has their small animals (mainly hamsters) in extremely poor care you could easily notice that the hamsters were extremely sick by just looking at them

A good place to get a first time pet. They have kitties sometimes. Theres a nice Koi tank. They even have pet food.
