Although our organisation had had a two-year history of doing business with the Staples on RLT, the Preston/Forest store was equidistant by comparison, so we had been considering transferring our trade with a "bricks & mortar" Staples to the Preston/Forest store. What cinched our decision was the extraordinary telephone assistance the Preston/Forest store provided us: wed called the Thornton Staples store we normally did business with, for more details and an explanation of a particular offer in the Copy & Print department. After three separate conversations during one phone call, I was exasperated that no-one at this store where wed done business for two years -- not the print center manager, the AGM, or the GM -- were aware of the offer, nor could they find any info on hand about it. They promised to "look it up", then call back "within a few minutes". After thirty minutes passed without a phone call, I called the Preston/Forest store -- not only was the copy center employee familiar with the offer, but she went the extra mile and explained how we could use the online print service to expedite our order and save ourselves two trips to the store (one to deliver the print job and a second trip to pick up the finished order). In two years of delivering/picking up orders 3 times a month at the other location, no-one EVER advised us an order could be placed online! This, in addition to the fact that the GM of our original location was often ignorant of current and upcoming in-store specials which had been heralded in Staples e-mails and at their website for weeks beforehand. On one notable occasion, we were in the R. L. Thornton store on a furniture shopping expedition; when asked the Wednesday before Thanksgiving 2010 about a particular item to be offered during the "Black Friday" sales the day after Thanksgiving, the manager said, "I havent had time to check that out yet", then failed to pursue the topic further by offering to follow up with us. After paying for a minor purchase we already had in hand, we left the store. Weve switched all our trade to the Preston/Forest store now: the floor employees, managers, even the telephone operator weve dealt with during occasional phone calls to the store, all seem well-briefed about Staples online specials and offers, NOT just in-store specials and coupons. Although their office furniture inventory appears slightly smaller than the R. L. Thornton store, encounters with the Preston/Forest staff and the overall experience at this location mirror the excellent customer service wed learned to expect from Staples when ordering by phone from their website. The Thornton stores management and staff never met that standard. Their indifference and ignorance seemed more inclined to "do just enough to get by." Well, weve said, "Bye!" ;-)

I wish I had never decided to do business with this place. There were a myriad of poor customer service problems when I bought my HP Desktop there. I should have gone to Best Buy, but the model and the price were what I wanted. Huge mistake! Since the unit I bought had problems with the CD ROM drive, I called and asked if I could bring it back in to have them take a look. "AJ" the tech person asked me if I bought the "extended warranty". I said "no". He said that he couldnt even look at it since I didnt. I didnt want him to fix it, just look at it. It has been less than 30 days. He handed the phone to the manager who said that they wont even look at it. I asked him if I cold NOW purchase the extended warranty. He said "yes". Then they could look at it. I would have handed out the $99 on the spot to get it just to end the time and aggravation. But they will never see a dime of my companys money ever again. Their service is deplorable. They could have easily up sold me items on the spot if they just seemed to give a damn about giving good customer service. Pitiful! Flee this location like the plague.

This site has a sitem trash, I waited for an hour and not be able to print my document because the system was slow. the system really is bad. At least the people who work are welcome.

I would always come here to get my copies done that I would do for my clients. The guy behind the desk always was friendly and would help me out with whatever I needed. I went in there last Saturday and again today looking for him, but I guess he is gone, because both days the 2 different associates would not help me with what I needed. I just needed 2 copies on good stock paper and I was also needing to make sure that everything I wanted printed was going to be on one page. I guess they have a new policy that they dont need to go out of their way (like they were doing a few months ago) to really help returning customers with their projects.

Ordered a poster for an art show. The idiots in the copy and print center here look like the 3am shift at waffle house, and "work" in a similar fashon. After taking THREE DAYS to print one single photo, I discovered they lightened/edited my photo with out my permission. Pissed me off beyond belief. Had to go to another print shop to have it done properly. This is why you idots make minimum wage...because you cant be trusted with the simplest of tasks.

Sitting here at 11:15 looking at the open at 11 sign. I occasionally use this store because of location. I will never come again. Maybe staples should pay someone enough to care about this place. High school dropouts parking on the front spot arguing with their girlfriend while people wait to get inside is unacceptable. Staples as a whole reeks of corporate greed and has forever lost my business.

Order business card. Never received a call to notify me that my cards where ready. I tried to call but no one would answer my calls. Finally I went down there four days later and not only was my cards not ready but the manager didnt check my order than I was suggested to use another staples store. IM not using their services anymore.

Really bad customer service, manager has no clue how to do his job and is teaching employees bad habits, came here previously and was able to price match no issues and now apparantely they "changed their policy" this was an absolute horrible experience and I will never return here again

Cristian gave me exceptional customer service, he was willing to work overtime to make sure that I had my daughters school supply list. Which he hand picked with me to make sure that I received the correct items at the best possible cost. Thanks Bro
