I needed to return a broken fridge and I called the 800 number for customer service and was told to take this Best Buy location and ask to speak with the manager and request they exchange it for another fridge. They said to tell the manager I spoke with customer service and that they OKd me to switch it out for another fridge and to call them if any questions. I drove over there and asked to speak with the manager, Scott. He came out and I told him that I had not had the fridge even a year and it broke and relayed to him what customer service had told me. He asked me if I had purchased the extended warranty for the fridge and I told him I had not but that customer service didnt ask me if I had purchased it. The fridge was less than one year old. He started chastising me for not purchasing the extended warranty and said because I had not purchased it, he would not help me. He was very rude and had a pencil in his mouth sidways the whole time he was speaking with me, the way a dog holds a bone. I told him that customer service said for him to call them if there were any problems but he refused to call and flat out refused to discuss an exchange at all. All he wanted to do was to chastise me for not purchasing the extended warranty. I think they make more money if someone purchases the extended warranty and he was getting back at me for not buying it. Finally I left and called customer service and told them what had transpired. They told me he should have helped me but that since he refused, they would take care of it from their side. They got all my information and quickly had a replacement fridge delivered to my house and took back the old one. I have dealt with other Best Buy locations before and no one has ever been so rude to me the way this manager Scott was.

Best buy gets a lot of crap, and most of it is deserved. For most things, they are a horrible place to shop, with horrible customer service. I refuse to shop there, except for anything regarding one thing they do especially well: Cellphones. Thats what this review is about: their mobile department. When I bought my Nexus 5 from google last year, Sprint Corporate stores had no idea how to activate it. That phone requires a SIM, which Sprint usually does not use. Sprint Corporate left me to pound sand, basically. Just for the heck of it, I figured id try best buy. Their guy had no idea what to do, but he did something I wish Sprint would have done: He asked around, did research, and figured out how to get my new Nexus 5 activated and operational. He was able to get the SIM I needed, and I was up and running. My father has had lots of similar experiences with the best buy mobile department, and both of us will continue to go there for cellphone related things in the future. If best buy employees around the rest of the store were as highly trained and helpful as the cellphone folks, nobody could beat best buy at anything. Its too bad only this one part of the store is redeemable.

Bought a new flat screen for over 1K Jan 2013... (RCA) a few months after having it the volume cuts off and you have to turn the TV off and back on, then it works... Geeksquad came out -Joe Green- "fixed it" and a few months later its doing the same thing. fast forward to a year later, volume STILL doing this and now a white flickering screen while watching TV one day. Called GeekSquad- outside of warranty. Set up a ticket for someone to come out seemed like no issue at all, when he arrived he said I cant order any parts and this is going to be 100$ for a service call. The person who set up the ticket completely set it up wrong... we were told this would be at no charge to us and "they would make it right". GeekSquad was NOT at all willing to help us - they did not charge the fee to drive out here because they saw the ticket was incorrectly set up as a "follow up". I have a JUNK TV, a HORRIBLE STORE I bought it from and the worst customer service experience. What happened to "making it right." Now its all about profits and how to screw people and help and company. COME ON! 1000$ TV that last barely a year? WHAT A JOKE. Stand by your products... and next Ill be calling RCA :)

I would not suggest buying anything at this location either. After looking at computers at store trying to decide what to buy, we saw a Kodak printer demo and the the Kodak rep says was $50 off if you bring in your old printer. We went home to get our old printer and decided to get printer now and buy a new computer later this weekend. After coming all of the way back to store no one could help us with deal. We were sent to geek Squad counter. Half reps said it was a valid deal but did not know how to do it , the other argued it was on HP printers. After 45 minutes we asked to see manager. the rep told us it would do not good but relented. Manager came over with attitude and said Kodak rep lied , his people werent responsible for problem and he wasnt losing $50 margin on this printer. Wouldnt give us his name ( got from previous rep) and told us insteading of giving us his info to call 888-best buy they handle all complaints. What a caring attitude....we will never shop there again....

I would rate this store at 0 stars if possible. After purchasing a $2000.00 LG 3d TV, I found it for $300.00 less at Fry’s days later. The store flat out refused to match the price despite Best Buys "Price Match Guarantee" and being well within the 30 day return/price match time frame. They argued the point in every way that they could without agreeing to match the price. Upon returning the TV they tried to charge for 3D glasses on the receipt I was NEVER given when purchasing the TV. They were attempting to deny the return all together over the glasses despite being within the allotted time for returns. The management is non-existent, unreachable -will answer no questions, all the while failing to comply with Best Buys policies and procedures. There are great companies in the area with better pricing and MUCH more helpful staff. Save yourself the major headache and go to another store even if it is further away.

Ive been to a lot of Best Buys and this one is hands down the best. Im new to the area and used to hate going to Best Buy because all of the ones I am familiar with are hit or miss at best. After my first time in this store I was surprised at how genuinely friendly and attentive the staff was Ive been back several times often on busy Saturdays and there is always someone there to help and Ive only ever talked to knowledgeable sales people. Ive got several large ticket items from this store now and made a few stops in just to pick up random things, every time I am impressed. I even went on the weekend before Christmas, they were packed full of customers but there was hardly a line. Hats off to the leadership of this store.
