I am so disappointed in this store for two reasons: bad employee attitudes and failure to resolve a customer service issue. For every helpful employee there are five more who could care less if I needed help or not. I also made the mistake of having an order shipped to me. I ordered three items - a case of canned cat food and a wax burner set which came from Walmart, and the third item - a metal moon and stars wall hanging - which Walmart was selling and shipped from another company. The first box arrived and when I opened it the cat food box was crushed on one corner. No big deal I thought until I opened it to find one can had burst, messing up the entire case. Then I open the wax burner kit and the larger one was broken. Now, Im a very patient person and after looking over the burner I knew some super glue would solve the problem, and it did. Knowing my second package was being delivered from another company through Walmart I began my wait. Im tracking the package and then I didnt check it for a few days. I dont know why this surprises me but the next time I check it showed delivered - on July 7th. I dont know where/who received it but its not hanging in my home! I notified Walmart via text and I was told that they had notified the company and I would be hearing from them shortly. I have not heard from anyone, even after alerting Walmart a second time. I will be visiting Walmart tomorrow and I will not leave until I am refunded. Buyer beware. And to those few employees who actually understand the concept of customer service, I thank you.

I have been inside this store and it is always well kept and a pleasant experience. I recently used the grocery pick up service and I just have to say that it was AMAZING. It totally saved me twice... I didnt have to go in and shop, I just spent 20 minutes picking it out online and went to pick it up at my scheduled time. The produce was fresh and wonderful and if they didnt have an item in stock that I picked out, they noted it and told me right up front. They also will substitute things like sweet and low - I ordered one big box but they changed it to three little boxes. It was cheaper and I got more product that way. Both times, I checked in with the app when I was about 15 minutes from being there. When I arrived at the pick up location and they were right there, ready to load my car. Shannon is the one that helped me the first time and she was a complete joy. I cant remember the name of the other lady that helped me the second time but she was just as wonderful, despite the cold. I give this service an excellent rating because it truly deserves it. Keep it up Walmart!! I LOVE it!

Although lines are long on the weekends & dinner rush, thats whats to be expected. Employees are trained on 1 department, grocery is usually a few aisles or so due to size, so someone working in grocery probably wont know about an item in pharmacy. Not to mention that when I order online, it usually takes a week. There are mistakes that are made by employees & management, but theyre not robots. Also, the stores system & online system are NOT updated in sync, which is obviously an issue, but not everything is perfect. Just order online if you can find what you need there. The store, for all its mistakes, is 1010 for me. Other stores have the same issues. Its how the employees deal with issues, & how they try to find a solution. These guys have done an excellent job of explaining how the stores ran, so my experience isnt plagued with confusion & stress. Fyi, for the best shopping experience with everything, shop before 4pm on weekdays. Avoids long lines & your favorite products not being there.

I had a very bad experience at the Walmart on Custer in McKinney Texas my son purchased a SIM card for a telephone we got the SIM card home and realized it didnt work for the phone I returned it to Walmart and was told that it was not the same card that I purchase I have never purchased a SIM card before and neither has my son so the manager basically called me a liar and told me that I was trying to return a SIM card that we did not purchase we had a receipt the package that the SIM card came in but for whatever reason the SIM card serial numbers did not match the serial number that they had in their computer and at that point instead of Walmart doing the right thing the manager basically once again called me a liar and told me there was nothing he can do for me so I highly recommend that if youre going to a Walmart in McKinney Texas you choose not to use this one there is another Walmart I got the street in Frisco try that when you may have better luck

Auto place is horrible. Ive been trying to get my oil changed for the past 2 days. 1st day was Saturday and I got there around 11am and they told me it would be about 2 1/2 hour wait. I didnt have that time so I left. I came back the next day at 5pm and they wouldnt take me even though they close at 7pm. I really need my oil changed and this Walmart Auto Division at the intersection of 380 and Custer is just the worst. Even a couple months ago I recieved horrible customer service from one of the techs about getting my oil changed. He tried to deny me service because I made a joke and he got offended. After talking to a manager the issue was resolved but still was a very unpleasant experience. If it wasnt so close to where I lived I would go somewhere else. I would NOT recommend going to this Walmart for any automobile services.

Horrible customer service here! I had two carts full of groceries along with a two y/o in one of the carts when checking out. While loading the groceries onto the conveyor belt, the cashier tells me I need to take the checked - out bags from the carousel so she can keep going. Where is a bagger when you need one? And then, when all finished checking out, with the two carts of groceries and my child, I was struggling to steer the carts out of the store. I had passed three Wal-Mart associates who all said to me, "Have a nice day". Finally, another customer saw me struggling with getting my carts and child out of the store, kindly approached me and asked if I needed a hand! "Yes, thank you very much!" My point is the best customer service I received all day was from another customer!!!

Worst customer service EVER. Go to the new Walmart on Redbud in McKinney - it is MUCH better. They actually care. It is amazing to me how 2 Walmart stores, in the same county, can have such vast differences in the way they treat their customers. I dropped off a stack of balloons to be filled with helium at Redbud: they called back in 1 hour to let me know they were ready. I dropped off an equal stack to this location and they practically chewed me out, saying they didnt have staff to do the job and that I should have given them more notice (mind you - I have called them to let them know of my arrival weeks and days in advance). It will take them roughly 18 HOURS to complete the same job that Redbud Walmart did in 1 hour. Unbelievable and unacceptable.
