Amazing piercing services. Ive had 4 piercings done here--a double tragus, forward helix, and single nostril piercing--and the piercers are so professional, they do it right every single time. The staff is very welcoming and casual, while also being extremely knowledgeable about both the piercing process itself and aftercare. Additionally, they know a great deal about which piercings look best where. I strongly recommend Hold Fast to anyone whos looking for an affordable, professional place to get a piercing. UPDATE: Since posting this review, I have had several more piercings done at Hold Fast, namely a second lobe, an inner conch, outer conch, daith, and septum piercing. Once more, Im very pleased with Hold Fasts consistently excellent service. Im definitely planning to return in the future!

Today marked the tenth year that Ive been getting tattoos by Mike Tidwell, who worked at Obscurities in Oak Lawn for over a decade. He has since moved to Hold Fast, and I could not be more pleased with this development. The shop is friendly, clean, and very reasonably priced for the talent they provide. Mike, as always, did some outstanding work on my calves, but I was also impressed with the amicable personalities of the other workers in the shop. They were very accommodating, very friendly, very professional. If youre looking to get a first tat, or even your thirtieth, check out this shop. A look through the portfolios on the counter should be more than enough to convince you that these are some great folks for ink.

After doing research for a few weeks about the where to find the best piercer in Dallas, I went in to see Matt for a body piercing. He was so professional and answered all of my endless questions very knowledgeably. He really made sure to listen to me and keep me calm throughout the whole process. The piercing was virtually painless and he made the experience really pleasant. A little over a week later, Im healing nicely with no complications and I love my new metal! I would definitely recommend Matt to anyone who is a body piercing newbie like I was. He will take care of you and make sure you get the exact results you want. Thanks Matt!

I went in with my mom to get my helix pierced. To put it simply she was not excited that I was setting foot in a tattoo place to begin with and didnt want me to get anything pierced either- but by the time we left she had gotten her bellybutton pierced because the people there had made her so comfortable with the level of cleaniless and thier training. So people writing these reviews seem to think that going to get a tattoo/piercing is like getting your hair done- but dude, it is a TATTOO shop! The guys who work their are nice but sarcastic- if you cant handle it dont go. But they are REALLY nice.

First of all, the piercer was very professional but the tattoo artists were vulgar and they made me feel uncomfortable. I know not everybody from around here is from Texas, but in Texas if a woman walks into the room, you are supposed to respect their presence but these guys were not. They practically ignored me while they were going on about women on Tinder, and they werent talking nice about them. As a woman, with plenty of money to spent on tattoos, my life is in the hands of a strange man, I want to know he respects me. If I were a woman who cares about herself, I would stay away from there.

I never write reviews but my experience here was so amazing that I needed to write one. I got a ear piercing from a different place a while back but they did such a crappy job that it never healed properly. So I decided to come here because I had a friend tell me about a guy name Jeremy that does piercing and let me tell you my experience with him was amazing he gave me proper care instructions took the time to make sure I had the right piercing and wrote down everything I needed to make the process of healing a lot smoother. Definitely recommend this place to others! Ask for Jeremy!!

All the guys at Hold Fast are awesome and talented. Matt pierced my nose last year and it was almost completely painless! He is extremely knowledgeable and enjoys doing beautiful piercings. Jeremy has been piercing for years and years- knows everything there is to know. Youre in great hands with either of these guys. Andrew is an awesome tattooer and very artistic. Hes done two tattoos on my thigh. Jc and Chris are also awesome tattooers with their own styles, extremely friendly and easy to talk to about artwork. I would highly recommend anyone at Hold Fast.

My daughters recommended this place and for my birthday my daughter took me for something Ive talked about for years. Getting a very small stud piercing in my nose. I had Chris and he was fantastic. My girls have also had another gentlemen that did there piercings and liked him too!It didnt hurt and there was no blood. He listened to what I wanted and explained what I needed. Great friendly place. They only take cash but there is an atm inside. I cant think of anything else I want done but if I did is go there again.

This place doesnt deserve a rating. Their some of the worst tattoo artist in Dallas. I stopped by one day and got a simple tattoo. What I got was a faded half done tattoo I called the next day and these assholes told me to let it heal then started giving me the run around. So I started dropping by once a month for like 4 months and the same thing over and over just the run around...I would never recommend any one to these losers.This was my 1st tattoo I have ever gotten done at a shop id rather stick to the in house tats.

My friend and I went there to get our tattoos together. It was her first tattoo, and my second - fourth. Their prices were reasonable starting at a base of $60 and for my 3 black tattoos (6 characters total) in Japanese and Korean it was a total of $100 + tip. They were very friendly and helpful and best of all FAST. I hate needles and he got all 3 of my tattoos on my neck and wrists in less than half an hour, maybe even less. They look fabulous and it was totally worth it! I would definitely recommend this place.

Best tattoo place in dallas, excellent service and amazing artists..I went in expecting to have to make a appointment but I was wrong.. Met this cat Andrew and he said he did have a appointment but he nicely and k kindly fit me right in between times he was very professional and explaining to him what I wanted to do he sat right down and started drawning it up.. I was very pleased with my tattoo from andrew and I will definitely be back I would recommend to all my friends to go to hold fast tattoo.

Jeremy did my naval piercing (belly button) along with 3 other friends of mine & we all love it. He was very professional and cared about doing the piercings just right. Cool outgoing guy with a unique badass style. Went over cleaning tips good at the end. GO to Jeremy for piercings!! also they have cute 1st time belly button rings with diff. colored diamond studs on them u get to choose from instead of the plain silver ugly ones normal shops give you. :) woot woot
