My 16 year old Child recently got a tattoo there. I asked my child why they did not check ID. My child told me that all of the under age kids know that if they want a tattoo without having their ID checked that this is the place to go. I am the parent of a child who never consented for that child to be marked. My child has no fake identification. I have looked at the picture of your facility and the door clearly says no minors are allowed. There is no way that my child could have been mistaken for someone of age. Im concerned that the door says one thing but once youre inside its a different story Tattooing under age children (or anyone really) without checking identification or without consent from a parent or guardian is illegal. The Reason why is that children who are not of age BY LAW do not have the capacity to consent to getting a tattoo - it doesnt matter how mature someone appears, It is the same situation as when a 15-year-old has sex with an 18-year-old. According to the law the 15-year-old does not have the mental capacity to give consent and therefore the 18-year-old can be tried for rape even if that 18-year-old believes that it was consensual. For my 16-year-old child there was no consent - According to the law , my child does not have the ability to consent for this until the age of 18. Im assuming that you have a license. The only reason I would question, is because somebody with a store and a license has so much to lose by taking the risks of tattooing under age children. All it takes is one parent to call the police and have the place checked out. Im trying to decide if that parent should be me . Im extremely concerned that while some tattoos are probably wonderful and completely legal, other tattoos that are being given there are not legal. How many under age children are going to be tattooed before someone has a license revoked ? According to the teenagers that are my childs peers, they have all heard that if you want to tattoo without an ID, this is the place to go. You NEED to tighten up your policy for identification. Because of your carelessness, my child is now marked for life and I was very clear that this was not an option for my child just days before it happened. Its not just a legal issue, for my family it is also a religious issue. If anybody in my childs extended family finds out there is a tattoo, they will demand to know where it came from and how it got there without consent. At the age of 18 my child is capable of giving consent and I may not agree with tattoos - but I would not stop my child from doing what my child wants to do with their body. I would never tell an 18-year-old child or adult of age what they can and cannot do but until my child is 18 years old I still have the last say in what it supposed to happen to my childs body and it did not happen in this case Sincerely, - a very angry parent of a child who was tattooed by you at the age of 16.

I visited this parlor on a recommendation in August. My tattoo artist Dave did a great job of botching simple line work on my arm. While he worked some areas were just uncomfortable and others were on the edge of excruciating. Half of it healed after the first week, my usual healing time. The areas that were the most painful took 3 weeks to heal and the color never seemed right so I visited my dermatologist and a tattoo removal tech. They both confirmed my tattoo is half ink, half scarring with distinct colouration between the two because he went to far into the skin. Im afraid one star is too high for this place. I wouldnt recommend it.

Death or Glory is a great place to get a tattoo! They have a cool, immaculate shop with a sweet retro vibe, a comfortable environment, and are very friendly. I am extremely happy with the tattoo I got there from Jorge Perez; all of them have amazing books and great skills! They also have a big screen with films to watch when youre getting your tat--that helps keep your mind off of the pain, too. Overall, they ROCK!

Great authentic tattoo shop where all the artists are extremely friendly and dont look down on you. Ive gotten tattooed by Cole, Matt, and David and they have great experience and recommendations. Also keep in mind that they are real artists who can draw well and not tracers for the next time you saw something cute on Pinterest.

Eddie Loven did a personally designed leg piece for me just a couple months ago. The piece took a proximately 4 1/2 hours but the healing process was ultra rapid. The colors are SO vibrant and I get compliments on it all the time. Call ahead-well worth it!!!!!!
