Id be highly cautious coming here if I were you. 2 weeks ago, I came with high expectations to purchase a decked out Burnt Orange 2009 Jeep Wrangler. Upon walking up, the building was nice, the salesmen inside looked friendly, and all appeared professional. Things were looking good. After a solid 30min examination of this vehicle with my brother, we noticed a good number of facts not lining up with DLRs statements online. From being supposedly owned by a nonsmoker(anyone with a sense of smell can tell it had been smoked in) to having no dents(it had a couple large ones on it) or rust to having an $1000 markup to the hood being all jacked up to oil being solid black(obviously not maintained). After waiving down a passing employee, I inquired about the no haggling policy and why this vehicle didnt come with a warranty like many of the other vehicles. He quickly stated that DLR sells everything at wholesale prices and thats why we cant haggle. What complete bull freaking crap! $20k for a less than well maintained vehicle with high miles, that cant even be driven above 25mph.... Once I asked to test drive the Jeep, the salesman first asked if I was a serious buyer because he didnt want me to waist their time. Looking at it now, they were the ones wasting my time. Anyways, I excitedly jumped into the vehicle to take it for a spin. Once I arrived to the crawling speed of 25mph, all of a sudden the vehicle started jumping all over the road. It felt like the front right wheel was falling off. On top of that, the tank was on E. Needless to say, the 5min test drive was NOT a fun one. Now that the drive was over, I was ushered to a desk with a highly incompetent salesmen who left me with a highly uncomfortable feeling. Anyways, I decided to talk money with him after listing my complaints. I told him that Id be cosigning with my highly well off brother. Which in return, he told me that the interest rate would be dramatically increased since there is more risk with a brother cosigning than a parent??? Thats not what the credit agencies and other dealerships have been telling me. All in all, it wasnt a very good experience in the slightest.

I recently purchased a Chevy Tahoe with the help of James Smith. He was absolutely wonderful to work with…patient, professional, knowledgeable. We began our search when James responded to an inquiry I made online about another SUV that was already spoken for. I’m an extremely “particular” person, knowing exactly what I’m looking for before I ever walk through the door---with a strict budget and a detailed list of wants (where every item on it is a deal breaker). To make matters more difficult, I’m pretty patient and willing to wait forever for an EXACT match (my current search began over 2 yrs ago). I forewarned James of this “mission impossible” from the beginning. He took note of my detailed list, kindly accepted the challenge, and said he would be (in his words) “like a detective on the case”. After several months of simply checking in on me and presenting me with a couple options here and there, the perfect vehicle appeared. James aggressively jumped on securing it before it even got a chance to get listed because he knew that it was the exact one for me. It’s still hard to believe I even put a deposit down on a vehicle that I’d never seen in person. But after communicating with and getting to know easy-going James over several months, I knew I was able to trust his word and promise that DLR only deals with quality vehicles. James walked through every phase of the process over the phone with me from beginning to end, always explaining everything thoroughly and making sure there were no problems. He had my SUV shipped here to me in Houston to look at and test out and it was just as he promised, exceeded even my high expectations. The finalizing process was super quick and easy. I have already recommended James Smith and DLR to one friend and will continue to do so to others. The only negative part of my experience is that I never got to meet James in person. I will take care of that on my next road trip to Dallas!

Extraordinarily Exceptional Experience!! Blanca is the BEST!!! I have bought numerous cars in the various states where I have lived that include Florida, Georgia, California and Texas. The experiences have been interesting, difficult and in some cases an absolute nightmare, however that was not the case when I chose Dallas Lease Returns. I started my search in early September and I have an affinity for buying vehicles that are lease returns, simply because you get a "new" car while someone else takes the depreciation hit! I was blessed to have Blanca Benitez respond to my inquiry and I explained my situation and timeline for making the purchase. Blanca was an active listener and made me feel comfortable in explaining my challenging buying position. She outlined a very strategic approach to achieve my goal and she did it with integrity and honesty. She described in detail what would need to be done and how she would help me and she was true to her word from the first conversation to the delivery of our new vehicle. Not only did you deliver a virtually new vehicle, but the price was outstanding as it was $1,000 below the market value for the vehicle and puts us in a great position from an equity perspective! My wife and I arrived at the showroom to take delivery and Blanca had the vehicle ready and the paperwork was in order and exactly as expected. After 15 minutes of signing documents and turning over our trade, we drove off with our 2015 Ford Explorer Limited Edition and my wife is extremely happy with the vehicle, buying experience and our salesperson, Blanca Benitez! Thank you Blanca for an exceptional car buying experience and for only promising what you could deliver upon. We will see you in about 6 months when we will be looking buy another vehicle!

the online buying experience was okay but Henry talked me into a car that cost more because it had less mileage. Thought I was getting a good deal until two weeks later when it rained, it started pouring water in on my feet. When I contacted Dallas Lease Returns, they told me that the Nissan Warranty should cover it. Nissan looked at it and said I need to take it back to Dallas Lease Return becaus they replaced the window and didnt seal it properly. Took me about two weeks and multiple phone calls and emails before they sent a window guy out to look at it. Window guy laughed when he saw how much water was pouring into my car. He said "yeah they replaced the window but windows dont leak that much, it has to be something else". He said he couldnt fix it and would call Henry. So I took it back into Nissan and they said that it was the Window but they would go ahead and fix it. I told them that I would have Henry call them so they could work out the details. Henry said he would call them and then went silent. He never called me back again. I sent him and email and even texts and not so much as a peep. I told him just today by text that Ive had my car for 2 months and its been in the shop more than Ive been able to drive it. BTW, another part started falling off and the back window was leaking. This car was obviously wrecked and fixed without it going on carfax. I bought the car on 11/25 and just got it out of the shop again today. Besides the first two weeks that I had it, its been in the shop every week that Ive owned it and they wont even return a phone call. You have plenty of places to choose from! Id stay away from this one! Buyer beware!!
