Totally different grocery store. They have all the Asian stables and in large supply. Anything that you would ever need related to any type of Asian dish that you have had at home or in a restaurant they have. They are definitely lacking for your all-American grocery shopping (cereals, pizza, american tv dinners) and they are lacking for american brands. But that is not why you go there. They have every rice, noodle and fish that you can imagine. They also have the usual fruits and vegetables plus some fruits and vegetables that I have never seen or heard of anywhere else. Very unique grocery store and fun to have around instead of more of the same cookie cutter grocery stores.

Meat smells very bad/sharp all over the area, even worse than a slaughterhouse. I dont understand if this is a slaughterhouse. Even a slaughterhouse would take care of the smell and sanitation stuffs. City officials must investigate the meat handling/packaging techniques followed by this supermarket. I can barely stay inside the supermarket, not even for a minute or two. I go to Walmart and I never felt any bad smell caused by meat products in the Walmart. Then, why I cant expect the same in this supermarket? I feel like vomiting in this supermarket because of worse smell due to lacking of proper sanitation handling/packaging meat and meat products.

This place is doing something strange to the Pork. After purchase next day after proper refrigeration the meat had clear an white slime on its surfaces an with foul odor. Also there is flys on the fruit on display in the store accompanied by nats..Also there appears to be illegal immigrants working in the store. I think they are adding MSG to the meat to keep it red. The store has a putrid smell a odor coming from souring meat an also poor sanitation perhaps due to illegal immigrants with poor hygiene practices an maybe USDA need to visit an with Labor department as well Heath Department from city.

The produce, meat, and fish are fresh, well-refrigerated; they prepped a catfish for me straight out of the tank and it was all done very professionally (and it was delicious - Im seriously thinking about never going back to the regular supermarket for it). The store has a large variety of imported Asian products, traditional and exotic, and by exotic, think of all the monkey wrench ingredients youve ever seen on Food Networks Chopped. The store is clean, the staff is polite. Will definitely be returning more often.

This place has horrible customer service. Went back to the fish market, they wouldnt filet even large fish. I arrive 40 minutes until closing, guy goes in the back for approximately 20 minutes then comes back just to say were closed now and would serve me. A few minutes later they turn off the lights in the store with no announcement. Such a rude experience. I went the H Mart and had a much better experience and selection. And yes they filet.

I have never really been to CPS in person, but there are some good and bad things I have heard. The good: Fresh produce, meat, seafood, etc. Authentic, exotic products Clean Bigger than Minoya Giant fish market Hard-to-find stuff Cheaper Friendly staff The bad: Funky smell at the front door Lack of American products, dairy products Smaller than H-Mart Not much colorful No food court Not many mini-stores

Think decent sized Ranch 99. Not huge but definitely one of the best selection of Asian mainland and islander goods around the area. Some fresh fish and a traditional modern prep station with all the basic options (whole no clean, clean, clean scrape, filet, etc.) Even had cow tongue but not in high demand there. Ok prices fresh noodle selection was nice to see.

Huge selection of all kinds of things. I have never seen so many different noodles/ramen and fruit. Lots of coffee and tea to choose from too. Very large seafood selection and impressive salmon was in stock. However, prices may be little more that H Mart or little less depending on the brand.

Fish is fresh and I mean still alive fresh. Try that at Kroger or Albertsons. Meat is fresh. Fruit and Veggies are impossible to beat as far as quality, variety and price. Ive been a returning customer since 1994. I Love This Place!!!

The prices are reasonable and workers are great at their jobs. Has a funny rule of not weighing meat and fish after cutting, nor helping to cut frozen meat but in overall a great place to shop for foreign food ingredients
