The store manager here is terrible. She is both mannerless and incompetent. If you call ten times with the same question, youll get ten different answers and dont ever expect a call back because you wont be getting it. I had a custom made wedding band designed to match my engagement ring. When it came in, it did not match at all. The manager told us to send it back, so we did. After a month without getting a call and numerous attempts to reach someone who had a clue, the store manager told me I would be charged $250 to have it fixed - despite the fact it was made wrong to begin with. I tried to explain this to her and she yelled at me over the phone. She continuously interrupted and scolded me for not listening and eventually hung up on me. I still dont have my wedding band and Im out $855. This place is an absolute joke. This woman has no clue what she is doing nor the professionalism to handle such high priced and sentimental items. A store run by someone who is absolutely incompetent is guaranteed to disappoint. Save yourself the heartache and avoid Mathews Jewelers like the plague. I wish there was a zero star option because one star is far too many.

It dissapoints me that I have to give such a bad review to matthews jewelers. I purchased a custom engagement ring through Rebecca, which was a wonderful expierence. However, the ring ended up being too big and I brought it back for resizing. The ring was mangled during the resizing and did not look the same when we got it back. Cheryl, the store manager, tried tooth and nail to tell us that the ring looked like that before, so my fiance returned with photos we had taken. At this point matthews agreed to send it back to the custom ring maker. Meanwhile I sent pictures to the ring maker of what the ring looked like in the past. 2 attempts and lots of headaches later we have the ring back. The final attempt the ring still was not perfect, but a lot better then it was. Cheryl assured me that ring maker had been sent the ring and this was the best he could do. Well a few weeks later I got an email from the ring maker saying he had never received the ring. After my headaches and time spent arguing, I would not recommend anyone to Matthews Jewelers.
